The Kabin is a hub for the streets gossip, and I always enjoy scenes in there.

I wondered, when Rita and Norris eventually hang up their paperbags, can you see any of the current characters taking over?

Personally, I'd love to see Sally & Tim behind the counter, Sally is a known snob and gossip and Tim is a friendly kinda guy who seems to get along with everyone so they seem to provide a similar dynamic to Norris and Rita in that respect.

Jenny and Kev? Kirky and Beth even? Anyone but Fizz and Tyyyyyyyyyy!!!

In fact are there any businesses on the street where you think another character could do better than the current proprietor?

Tracy and whoever her current boyfriend is at the time. Nobody would be late paying their paper bill, or read magazines in the shop before buying/not buying them !!

Maybe some new people could move in.

I love the idea of Gail and Sally, that has got to happen.

I'd like it to be turned into a new business. I can't imagine how it survives. It would get little passing trade and I imagine Dev would be able to undercut its prices.

If it were to stay, I think Kevin would buy it and perhaps he would then allow Sally to run it for him.

Carla might do a good job with Streetcars. I can envisage her attempting to sign up more corporate clients.

I think it's time we had fresh blood. Nothing against Rita or Norris, but it amazes me she retired yet worked there regardless, what was the point? Time to progress I think, it's not like we really see Rita in there much anyway and it's really just to moan at Norris for being nosy.

Gail and Sally would be good, time we had more scenes of these two.

I wouldn't actually be averse to a new family taking over Kevs Garage AND street cars but don't actually live on the street, father and son in the garage and mother and son or daughter in the cab office.
