I noticed earlier how shifty Phil looked when Shazza mentioned her birth father and wondered if indeed Kathys husband could be the Gavin that Sharon is looking for (as has been discussed before) and that Den and Gavin were old mates?

If that were the case, could Den have facilitated the disappearance of Gavin and Kathy? Given that he faked his own death once, might they have contacted him for help if they were in trouble?

I'm not sure if the timelines work, just throwing an idea out.

Impossible i'm afraid Kathy and Gavin's car crash and 'death' occurred in February 2006 at which point Den Watts really was dead having been killed by Chrissie 12 months previously.
