on monday we saw alfie helping out billy with the funerals, but i cant remember billy asking him to help.

personally i found alfie warm and caring, alfie is so much better when he has something serious to do.

nice to see ds posters, were forward thinking, in that billy would possibly get the coffins muddled up

Poor Billy, he is a duffer but where was Pam? Surely Billy is only an employee and not authorised to arrange funerals without Pam or Les being there?

I don't remember Billy asking Alfie to help out either but i'm glad he did because I just knew Billy would get the coffins mixed up and the poor families would end up with the wrong dad if it hadn't been for Alfie, who was indeed very warm and caring!

The actor who plays Les was off sick at the time of filming so they obviously just planted Alfie into all of his scenes in order to not cause big rewrites to the episodes.

alfie does have his faults, but hes got a good heart somewhere,
