EastEnders: Jane and Masood look for Roya.
Surely this is harassment. If Shabnam hasn't bothered to go herself then what's the point? Hopefully there's more to it?
Seen as the pictures of Shirley looking for Roya resulted in a huge thread about the story being solely about the Carters - it will be interesting to see if any comments are made now. I did say at the time that the only reason it originally came out as Shirley looking for Roya was because those were the pictures they obtained - and now they have more with Jane and Masood showing the story is about all of them!
I hope Jane is treating Masood better though! I don't really like him following her lead like a lost puppy - but back on topic - it looks like this story could potentially be very good indeed. I just wish it didn't mean keeping Dean on. They could have done the story with Shirley, Denise, Buster(if he is still there) and the Masoods without Dean having to be involved.

Fair enough, but still I just meant that hopefully these pics will show that both are equally involved.
What I would like to know is, where are Dean and Shabnam?

BIB: I agree, that would have been interesting.
I'm curious to see Masood's reaction to Shabnam having had a baby given how those two have gotten along in the past year and a half. He was pretty angry at her hypocrisy when her affair with Kush came out. I wouldn't think this would improve anything, but if he's looking for Roya he must have a change of heart in some way.

I'm with you, Ell. I outlined my theory in another thread, but I think Shabnam might have been an earlier victim of Dean's. The discovery of Roya's existence might lead to all of that coming out.

Count me in on that. That two week drunkard storyline he got was too short. Masood had been nassively mistreated this past year
No doubt Jane will decide the outcome for the Massods and Roya... I'm struggling to take to Jane this time around, between her involvement in Lucy's death to her interfering with Cindy. Now we will have to endure her interfering in the Massods affairs!

Definitely. It was a shame that story stopped before it properly got going. Nitin Ganatra is brilliant and could really pull it off, I would really like to see Masood go dark, dark dark!

I definitely think that was the theory behind making Dean, Roya's dad. I don't think it was just an off the cuff decision. I wonder what happens in the lead up to Shabnam confessing.

I must admit to being disappointed with her involvement...she'll be wanting to adopt it next.
I hope they bring Shabnam into it soon. We had Phil taking over Lexi, the Beales wanting to take Beth and now we have the grandparents to the front again.
