Definitely. This could have been the perfect change to redeem her. Give the character something new and the actress much needed different material.
MND is a sensitive subject. Manipulation and plotting is the last thing needed but classic Hollyoaks love to sensationalise storylines.

Patrick has Motor Neurone Disease.
