Brand new charity book available!
The rather wonderful Unofficial Doctor Who Book Guide is available for preorder now aiming to raise money for the Bobby Moore Cancer Fund. This is first volume covering the Target releases. Please check out the links below.

Love it when people release things for charity. Such a nice gesture. I'm hoping to get something for charity published myself. It's short story for a charity anthology. Haven't heard anything from the editors of the book yet, though.

What is the profit margin on the UK books? I feel that if you advertising something for charity on a forum you should be transparent with the numbers. Also what costs are you charging for apart from Postage?

It's difficult to be completely transparent about costs at the moment as with each book sold the price for printing going down. Hence the reason for pre-orders. There are no expenses being taken by me or anyone involved and I am paying for my copy of the book also. The postage costs too are very approximate as I don't know how heavy or how much the book will cost to sent in the post to UK and through to Germany,, Australia, Canada and the United States. However I will be completely transparent with the figures and publish them all the facebook page and the website. From these approximate calculations I would suggest between £200 and £250 has been raised thus far, I hope this makes things clear.

I haven't read any of the books but looks very nice for collectors and others interested in them, and the price for a labour of love that has 500 colour pages seems very reasonable, I hope it turns out well and does well for the charity
