I'm a big fan of Enya and I'm sad she hasn't made an album since 2008's lovely And Winter Came. I'm hoping she has not quietly retired. She is very private and is never seen or interviewed unless she's promoting her work so there's not been a peep from her in over six years.

Are there any other Enya fans on here? What do you think?

Well according to the story on the main page she's worth 90 million! So i guess the answer is: Only if she wants to.

She is very reminiscent to Kate Bush (another favourite of mine) in the way she works. As frustrating as waiting for new music from the likes of Enya can be I do admire greatly how they manage their careers on their own terms.

No other fans here? That would be a pity.

The last I heard of her was that she was in Co Donegal over Easter staying in the family home in a little place called Crolly. Apparently she was having a drink and a bit of craic in Hughi Beags and a great session it was.

I love Enya. Her album A Day Without Rain is my favourite, stunning! I really do hope she makes another one.

I think you underestimate the circle jerk to certain artists on here

I adore Athair Ar Neamh from that album, well the whole album is stunning but especially that song. I feel so at peace listening to Enya's music, she really is such a rare talented artist.

Always loved her, but if she makes another one, it would be nice to see her work with other producers than ryan and niki or whoever are her staple producers. Would love to see her work with unexpected new age style producers. Every album she does is more of the same. It's lovely and all, but I never really feel I'm getting anythign new or fresh with a new Enya album.

These days Enya probably has no real motivation to create new music. I'd say she'll have a new album in the next couple (few?) years. I think it would be nice if she was to introduce some new collaborators to make things sound a little fresher. I wouldn't want a complete shift in sound though otherwise she wouldn't be Enya. I'd love some live performances from her too.

Maybe I'm asking for too much lol.

If she retires, I'd like her to announce it before releasing a final album and not just slip away
