I have started to notice lots of people like me are just getting fed up with the Carters not only been overused but the fact the Dean story hasn't came to any conclusion Mick and Shirley are talking then there not then they are. Tonight just looks childish and stupid. If people like me are fed up with It just Tweet DTC and say how silly this is getting. Of course don't go OTT and throw sick abuse but if he knows people are getting fed up he might listen.

Directing him on twitter could cause stress. I know it's fans opinion, but I wouldn't want endless tweets of complaining, aimed at me if I was EP.

He reads these forums anyway. If he doesn't want to do anything about it, then that's his mistake.

The big problem for me this week was having the Carters dominate Jim's funeral. That should never have happened. We should have had

Carter week
then
Branning week

If I did tweet DTC I'd be complaining about a lot more than the Carters. The state of the show isn't just down to them, although people like to use them as scapegoats for a variety of problems.

Having said that I don't think the show is in the pits, just not as good as it could be.

Whilst no one should make abusive tweets there is nothing wrong with saying what you think and if this is that you are bored with the Carters than say this. There is nothing worse then looking at tweets that are all gushing and love and kisses. You need a balance of negativity as well.

I did say to him that I felt he has done all in all a good job but I was critical of the Carter dominance and I did express my disappointment about Cora and the fact that EE have not made an official statement on Ann Mitchell's future in EastEnders.

Vaslav - you're a pussycat but this obsession you have with Ann Mitchell/Cora is slightly worrying.

I agree. I've posted some constructive
Cristism tweets about having less mick etc and more of the underused and about the block storytelling

If she is leaving I will get over it.

Believe me I am a gay man and my interest in Cora is just as a character and Ann has a fab actress- I know I have been a bit obsessive about it

Something tells me that he does not like the Carters been criticsed probarly because they are based on his real life family.

It be nice if DTC would take in consideration some of the concerns of The Carter dominance but at the end of the day, he in charge and it's he decisions and I'm not really for EP pandering to mass opinions on forums, some did that before and it didn't go greatly, even though I dislike the Carter overuse myself it don't mean he do anything about it, their he's baby, I think the only time action would be taken if things got really bad like before he come on board.

He may be the boss but it's not his show. In fact it is us that is paying the Carters wages for appearing on "our" show

There have been discussions on here that have eventually led to what has ended up happening in the show

Kathy coming back from the show always popped up as a discussion every few months on here

and I recall several members coming up with introducing a trans character.

That might be just pure luck, but you never know.

True

I dunno I mean maybe he see it as a positive criticism instead of negative, I've not seen hate exactly concerning the Carters it more of the seeing too much of them that is getting on people nerves.

Tbh his obsession with them comes off creepy...it's like his obsession with the carters of because he is obsessed with his own family and wants them to be the focus of everyone like the world revolves around them.

Either way we should
All keep critising him over this until he listened. The Carter fans get 90% of each episode while what do
The Lola and Whitney fans get... F all.
The fox/masood fans get very little too

It's constructive and negative about the show now but gives a way for it to get better. Eastenders is an essamble but now it's just the Carter show and not an essamble. I wish actors and fans would go on a strike if it continues to be the Carter show. I wouldn't be surprised if Carter dominance has led
To complaints being filed to the bbc

Since Danny Dyer is on an extended holiday I presume in about six weeks time there will be a Carter break, well Mick and Linda at least.

I (very politely) tweeted him re my extreme disappointment in the Lucy reveal. He didn't answer, but he can't possibly have time to answer everyone who complained about that.
