So, what does Kathy have to do with Kat and Alfie. Could Kathy be Kat's mum instead of Viv? Could she be Nana Moons daughter? Could Kathy be the biological mother of Kat AND Alfie (allbeit that being a huge twist so unlikely but might be why they flee together)

Could Alfie be involved in the cover up of Kathy's fake death? So many possibilities... Didn't Kat have a one night stand with a Gavin who followed her to the square and sang to her outside the window?

I would imagine both have nothing to do with each other and that bloke was called Kevin played by Daniel Mays.

There is simply no reason why Kat/Alfie should be connected to Kathy.

I ain't a big fan of Phil but well the guy was being logical here, he was supposedly thinking of how this will affect Ben and Ian who have been through some pretty traumatic stuff this last year or more, he ain't got a clue how they gonna react to this and this isn't small fry stuff, it's their mother who they've believed dead for nine years who it seems just abandoned them and made them think the worse thing to happen to someone, you don't ever get over that feeling and it goes against everything they know about her.

Hopefully we're get some more knowledge on how he found out about her being alive and why she played dead.

Obce again, kathy has given birth to 3 children in her life - Donna when she was 14 which was sometime in the mid 60s, Ian in March 1969 and Ben in March 1996. We found out about Donna because Nick saw her medical records in 1985 and used the information about another birth to blackmail her. Had there been yet another birth, it would have come up then. Plus, Kat was born in January 1970, less than 10 months AFTER Ian. How exactly is she meant to have concealed that from Pete, Lou, Pauine etc.

Gavin that serenaded Kat was payed by Daniel Mays who is about 40. She really has gone younger if it is him, not to mention that he'd have had to hightail it over to SA to meet and marry Kathy pretty soon after her infatuation with Kat. Both happened about 2000/2001.

It doesn't look to me like these stories are linked, they might just be scheduled to run simultaneously and Kathy being revealed as Kat's mother would surely be a retcon and if she's Alfie's mum and all that means Kat and Alfie are siblings!

The Kat and Alfie stuff is completely unrelated to Kathy.
