LMFAO

Damn though, out of the top 700 after a month.

Kanye has actually deleted all tweets referencing it and changed his logo from 'TIDAL' to an album cover of his

A friend, who happens to be in a band, forwarded it on to me this morning.

Like the best satire it is bitingly accurate!

This suffering must stop! I don't know why governments allow it to continue.

I think Madonna's involvement had something to do with the flop

Someone forwarded this to me - can't remember for the life of me who it was - but it is hilarious!

Remember folks - dig deep! These people are in dire circumstances.

I actually think it's so much better than Spotify. I'm still on the free trial and it expires this Friday. It has music on it that Spotify doesn't, a few exclusives that I've quite liked, same sound quality and same price as Spotify. Another plus is that artists actually get paid when people are streaming their music, unlike Spotify. I'm sure I'll get people reply to this post saying that Jay Z, Madonna, Taylor Swift etc all have millions and shouldn't be doing this...that's an absolutely ridiculous argument though...just because they have millions of pounds does not mean they should have to give their work away for free.

The problem is the way they set about promoting this service absolutely set them up for this kind of ridicule.

If they had sais it wasn't about them, it was about getting a fair deal for up and coming artists and giving them a platform for increasing their profile and fanbase, it would have been fine, but the way they chose to promote it made it seem from the start it was all about Jay Z, Madonna, Taylor Swift, etc, lookintg to incease their already vast wealth, even if it wasn't.

They had an opportunity to promote a serious contender to the likes of Spotify, but all they did was set themselves up for a fall.

There are so many posts in this forum that sound like music biz press releases, it wouldn't surprise me if Spotify's PR people were involved in stirring up anti-Tidal opinion.
