I wish Dot would stop with the poor me/sympathy act. There'd be quite a few people who would love to be released from prison if there was a chance that some evidence could clear them. She's getting on my nerves. She's using religion for her poor me act. Once the sympathy act wears off, she'll no doubt be begging her family to try and get her out.

Okay, she told Carol that she was changing her plea near the end of the episode.

caught up on the past weeks episodes from the US yesterday and OMG last nights ep (funeral episode?) was incredible, so very moving and I am so glad that they handled Jim's so well, it would have been fake for Max and Carol to just be weeping, but lovely that we were reminded of the Jim that we all new and loved. Very pleased. I cried my eyes out, Jim was a great character and his partnership with Dot was magical.

Roxy/Ronnie/Charlie turning out to be more enjoyable than I thought, although i'm starting to seriously dislike Charlie for trying to ruin the Mitchell Sister bond.

Alfie is back in my good books. He was always very pally with Jim.

Tina is the Carter Queen ever since this Stan story kicked in. Glad to hear DTC is planning to end Linda's story, i'm starting to find it all a bit 'dragged-out' although I appreciate his comments that these things aren't resolved and wrapped up quickly in real-life. Shirley just seems like she is going in circles running between Dean and Mick. I hope her and Buster find out that the rape did happen soon and both offer apologies to Linda! Poor thing.

Phil/Sharon/Ian/Jane is an awesome pairing, can't wait to see what happens when they throw Kathy into the mix! Also looking forward to Peggy's return.

Cora has come into her own this past few months and so i'm looking forward to her coming back sassier than ever, hopefully brining Tanya with her! Waching Ordinary Lies has really got me missing Tanya!

Final word is i'm disappointed Scott Maslen turned down the offer to return - coming back for one episode would have been perfect and I am sure that he would not have damaged his career! He was Jim's favourite - don't care about Suzy and April - but Jack should have been there! I would also have wanted a brief scene in the hospital with Queen Veronica. Just a brief kiss on the forehead whilst she was sleeping would be suffice. Ahhh I miss that sexy beast so much He should have come back out of respect for John.

Anyway, EE is well and truly back! It was always going to be hard after the Live week, but these episodes were filmed after so we should be seeing more consistently strong episodes now.

Peace x

Dot is only in The Chokey because she refused Bail.
