ADB commands/programs on Linux?
I am thinking about switching to Ubuntu, my question is how easy is it to use ADB etc for flashing firmware/roms etc to my android devices? These devices all have specific windows programs.

It depends on your device. If it's samsung I would forget it although there is JOdin for that if you're OK with JRE on Ubuntu.
On Nexus it's a doddle to be frank because of the fact that Google use Ubuntu as their main operating systems. It can be a bit hit and miss on other platforms but if it's got full fast boot support on the phone then it shouldn't be too bad. |
