EE: Ramsgate

Just before Cora left she told Babe that she knew about the events of Ramsgate which Babe is hiding from the Carter family. So what did happen in Ramsgate and why does Babe want this hidden still?

I think Stan told Cora the story just before his death and at his funeral Cora made a comment about silver bullets and you got the impression that it was about Babe. And know we find out the ammo is Ramsgate but no details.

I believe if Cora is returning then she will expose this and how poisonous Babe is when she arrives back in Walford as I got the impression there is unfinished business between Babe and Cora during the Ramsgate lines

Cora will let everyone know about how manipulating babe is and how far she went in the past

We know that Shirley gave birth to Mick in Ramsgate and that Babe was involved in persuading Sylvie to pass him off as hers when they went home to Stan. It seems there was more to it.

Yep, it seems like something else went down - I wonder if it is connected or something separate...?

Maybe Mick had a twin sister that they put up for adoption.

But surely Shirley would know whatever this secret is, no? I mean she was old enough to remember what was going on in Ramsgate

I guess they could have easily hidden whatever happened from Shirley, but that begs the question, how did Cora find out? Through Stan? But then how did Stan find out?

I have no idea what expect. I don't want it to be too extreme, as much as I like the Carters they have far too many gamechanging secrets.

BIB - Stan didn't even know that Shirley was Mick's mother until xmas so he probably didn't know what happened in Ramsgate. I think Cora might have spoken to Sylvie off-screen and maybe because of her Alzheimers, Sylvie let slip the full story.
