It has been announced today that Vincent and Flavia will be touring for the FINAL time with their brand new show 'The Last Tango' which will visit 33 venues from Sept 2015 until July 2016 (with a 7 week break over Xmas/NewYear)

I'm sure it WON'T be the last we'll be seeing of them and they're just hanging up their touring shoes, but I think this will be one not to be missed.

Full list of dates/venues are on the new website.

HOW Exciting ; Thanks for posting it Dilly ; I wish them all the best as always and I hope that this year they manage to find a little time in their very busy schedule to do one AT demo like in the old days.

Still miss them on the show but I'm very happy to see them so successful

Well they stop for their break in the tour on 5th Dec so maybe we might be lucky this year and see them in the week or two after on SCD

Can't wait. Hope they don't hang up their dancing shoes - hopefully this will be one of many 'final tours'

Looks to me from their website like they want to go back to teaching and personal appearances, probably at least as lucrative and less knackering 😆

I agree with you. Also want to get back more to their own families perhaps?

Interview with V&F were they talk about their plans for the new show

http://www.bucksherald.co.uk/what-s-...atre-1-6764190

In late June/early July they will start to audition dancers. Previous shows have been big affairs but this time will be different.

Vincent said: “This time we are more intimate. We will recreate some of the numbers from the past, we love them so we want to dance them again.

“But there will be some brand new dances, and challenges, doing new styles we haven’t done before. We will have musical theatre dancers in the show who can dance, sing and do lifts. We will have singers and some special characters.”

I've totally neglected updating this thread.

Hope everyone has been enjoying the show if you've managed to go to it. Still a few weeks left if you're looking for a chance to see it still.

Thanks for bumping this thread! I was looking for it last week to post my thoughts after I saw the show, but because the search function is a bit dodgy I couldn't find it.

All I can say now is that it was brilliant, and a beautiful, touching love story told through dance, which managed to weave in elements of many dance styles. Vincent and Flavia were superb, and what happened after they took their bows at the end - well there was another treat, their

and I can't find the words to say how very, VERY impressive it was. My friend and I were - how did they do that?

When there are standing ovations I am usually lagging behind everyone else, and I think this is the first time that I have ever been first in leaping out of my seat!

For anyone interested, Vincent and Flavia will be appearing on the National Lottery show next week. Maybe they will treat us to some dancing?

This is an amazing photo that I've borrowed from Rebecca (ensemble in the show) who posted it on Twitter.

What a view they have at the end of an evening. Quite something. - This is a regular occurrence for them to get standing ovations like this and they are richly deserved.
