EE: Anybody miss Lauren?
I do. It might be an age bracket thing but I really liked both Lauren and Lucy, they remind me of some of my friends (don't judge!) and it's nice to have some people you feel more connected to.
But even putting bias aside I think Lauren grew into a really great character and EE is actually missing her more than I thought it would. Abi's great but she's no Lauren, she isn't leading lady material yet. There was a quality Lauren brought to EE that I find missing now. I like Cindy too but she still feels like a work in progress whereas Lauren had really started to hit her peak. Back to a more personal note I'm struggling to stick with EE at the moment, and not that they are all his fault, but since DTC I seem to be losing all my favourites. First Janine, then Lucy was killed, then my favourite Carter Johnny, then Lauren and Peter and it looks like Kat is leaving in a few weeks. That's like all my favourites gone! |

Kat and Alfie are going on a break and will probably return in 2016 after the spin off

![]() Jacqueline Jossa had better return after her maternity leave though, I can't be losing Lauren. |

I missed her for about 24 hours.
However I didn't find Lauren that interesting in the year or so before she left and the build-up to her departure was rubbish, what with turning into Columbo and having a pregnancy story rushed through. I don't feel the show is lacking without her. Other things are going on and the show has quickly moved on. I still think there's a lot more mileage left in her so in that respect, it's a shame she had such a nice ending with Peter. It's going to go to waste unless another bad decision is made and a recast Peter returns with her. |

Lauren was the biggest character of the younger people by a distance but she was also one of the biggest characters of the last four years full stop.
Also I feel Lauren is the only character that DTC has actually improved, although she tended to get better writing than the other young people. At the moment it's a case of any old crap writing does for the young people. When she does return she will be as big as before if not bigger, although we still don't know if she will return with a child |

I don't really miss her. The actress and the character are both fine, but I think we needed a break from Lauren. The last half of the year she was onscreen a lot, but didn't seem to really "do" much. I'll be glad to see her come back, but I don't wildly miss her either.

The good thing about EastEnders is that we have a really strong cast. I do miss Lauren but she will be back eventually. Kathy is coming back soon and that will make me really excited for the show.
I will miss Kat and Alfie but they will be back somepoint in 2016 according to DTC. I hope Kat and Alfie aren't leaving for good. Lauren has definitely improved under DTC and Jacqueline Jossa is a great actress. I look forward to her return. |

No
She became slighty stale and I think Jossa's pregnancy couldn't of come at a better time as she was in need of leaving for a bit and to come back with new energy. Lauren going all Jessica Fletcher with Lucy's murder felt forced and put upon as a red herring for her to leave, only for her to end with a crappier exit for her to become pregnant and end up with Peter all happily ever after in New Zealand. |

I'm excited for Lauren's return storyline, if she decides to return.

I didn't think I'd miss Lauren as much as I do because even though she is a favourite I felt so excited by EE around the time of Live Week I didn't think it would matter. Now watching is a bit if a chore for me so I'm missing having those characters I root for to help me ride out the slow weeks.

When I take over as EP, sadly she won't be returning to the screen. She's been promoted. To CSO (Chief Sexy Officer). No more lowly acting for MyLauren.

And this. ^^So nope! Since she had her baby, the actress is always in the press and on Twitter behaving in a low-life, trashy way, defending that low-life, trashy man she's with. So no. I don't really want to see her back. If EE want Lauren, they should cast someone else. |

No because without her the writers have concentrated on Abi and given her some brilliant lines.
