Emmerdale: Ross and Chrissy is the pairing we need to see!
Kate Oates needs to stop trying to shove Ross into the orbit of Debbie Downer and put him with Chrissy. Those two have great chemistry and it would be a great story seeing the lady of the manor getting with the local bad boy.

I have to agree.
They would be a great pairing even if it wasn't long-term. |

Ross has a great pairing with anyone, to be honest
Michael Parr just has that chemistry with any actor he shares a scene with I could of happily of watched Debbie and Ross talk continuously last night. |

Nah, I don't want to see that.
Debbie/Ross would cause so much more drama and complications. I'm looking forward to the long term effect/fallout it'll have on the Dingles and Bartons, especially when it comes to Emma stirring things and no doubt pulling Ross/Debbie's strings so they can dance to her tune. Chrissie/Ross on the other hand would fall flat after a few episodes. Also, I've seen the lady of the manor getting it on with the bit of local rough too many times to enjoy it. |

When Chrissy gets rid of Robert, I can see her going for another man in Ross. You go gurrrrl, get some of that candy (I'm turning into a ghetto drag queen)

Yeah Hot Ross Buns and classy Chrissy would be preferable than the dreadful Debbie.

I'm good with any storyline that doesn't involve a Dingle
BTW Chrissy is HOT! |

It'd probably be good but I'm more in favour of Ross/Carly.

Ross and Debbie sound good on paper but the two of them lack chemistry. I've more chemistry between Ross and Chrissy in the last two episodes than I've seen from Ross and Debbie since she came on to him last year. Plus the Dingles and Bartons have enough drama going on without throwing in this love triangle that will fall flat anyway.
I enjoyed the job I thought it was very fun but the two of them stuck in the hotel room was boring. Ross asking her to run away with him was okay purely because Ross is that kind of character and you can believe that he might have a thing for Debbie, that he wants what Pete has... etc etc. But there is no reciprocation from Debbie or the actress in any way shape or form. Ross and Chrissie definitely have more chemistry between them and their scenes were fun and great to watch. |

Any way, this is a soap, there's no such thing as happily ever after's. Ross/Debbie won't last, Ross will eventually make his way through all the females of the village, Chrissie will have her go soon enough. |

As regards the subject of this thread I don't want to see Ross and Chrissy together let alone need to. I agree with another fm who's seen lady of the manor/bit of rough etc pairings too many times. It's been done to death and it would just be boring. |

Also agree with the OP. The only positive thing about Hot Ross Buns/Dour Debbie, is that Ross gets more screen time. I'm not buying his sudden love for the sour one for one moment. |

I thought that was the whole point. Debbie loves Pete and doesn't feel anything for Ross and it shows. It's only on his side.
A lot of people are calling for her to ditch 'boring Pete' and get with Ross. I wish we could see more of Pete and Debbie as a couple, personally, and I don't mean those fake 'sweet' scenes where they pretend to argue about cereal. I want to see what they are really like. There are plenty of other characters to play Ross against that would work better. |

Which is fine if they keep it that way. If you look on twitter and facebook though Emmerdale keep trying to push the Debbie/Ross pairing as a romantic one.

I totally ship them together, they have so much chemistry! I'm really looking forward to tonights episode due to the preview video Emmerdale released. Watching tonights preview made me see how much chemistry they really do have and that was only from a 40 second clip! Ross and Chrissie all the way!

Seriously, where has it come from? I feel like I've missed a load of episodes. It's the same with Finn; within a couple of hours he went from wanting a relationship badly to deciding it's all too much bother.

I disagree, I've not seen ANY chemistry with Ross/Chrissie, there's loads between Ross/Debbie though. Then again Chrissie doesn't have any chemistry with anyone she's acting with, she's always pulling weird faces and has a weird voice, and acts a nagging, whiny mother with everyone.

Don't get me started on that Finn/Darren crap, that story line was terrible from start to finish from Finn's "no big deal" about sleeping with someone who is HIV positive, to his lying about stuff he like to impress Darren to his trying to annoy Darren to end the relationship. People were complaining about Sean and the pastor on Corrie but they more realistic and more enjoyable than Finn and Darren.

A scene with Ross holding onto a mannequin in a strong wind would have more sexual charge than that scene of him gripping Debbie to the bed.
