I have always bought new mobile phones on phone + monthly contract. I am thinking of buying outright a Lumia 635 to replace my aging Lumia 710 which is now out of contract with EE.
My question are:
1) ' is the only difference between a pay as you go and a contract phone the sim card? I see some 635s are advertised on Ebay as pay as you go and others no mention of anything.'
2)What I want to do is transfer the sim from my Lumia 710 to the new 635, will it work? Do I need to call EE to tell them of the change

Pay as you go and contract are generally the same phone (network branding and additions).

The 635 and 710 use micro sims so you can just swap.

Make sure that the phone you purchase is sim free. Then it will take any network micro sim. The 635 is a lovely phone.
