OMG is it the last one tonight? That's sad to hear!

They definitely should've kept it on SUnday afternoons, not much else on that time and it was tradition!

People can just use catch up now, so it's not a loss.

It's not really. It's just sad to see it go. EastEnders is the last main soap to have an Omnibus on their main channel. It is a shame to see it go tbh.

Though not everyone can use I Player so they could be missing out. On the plus side BBC1+1 should be along soon and BBC3 is on air now until 2016

Their loss, the Sunday Afternoon omnibus was a great way of getting in casual viewers who sometimes couldn't watch at 8PM weeknights. Catch up requires a level of dedication and not what people who dip in and out of a soap would use.

Spot on. I agree. I know of people that used to watch the omnibus on Sundays all in one go because they are busy during the week. They now on;y watch it when they can which is very rare.

I used to love watching it again on Sunday if it had been a decent week.

I agree. Farewell, EastEnders Omnibus. They should have left you on Sunday afternoons. Now we just have endless Sunday afternoon repeats of Bargain Hunt and Escape to the Country. Silly BBC.

It doesn't affect me but it's a shame it is going as before the likes of V plus or I player, Omnibus was my saving grace of catching up.

When I was younger, I used to love the Sunday omnibus. Sometimes it was perfect to catch up, or even watch again if there was something I liked. Sometimes it was perfect hangover viewing. Either way, it was a part of my past.

Trouble is that these days I just record it on Sky+. Or I can record the BBC3 repeat. Or I can watch it on iPlayer. I think Omnibus is just a relic now.

I agree about the Sunday hangover viewing. I miss the Sunday show. I don't know why on earth they put it on late Friday night.
