Android Galaxy 2.1 Tab 10.1

I have a Android Galaxy 10.1 tablet and the screen went green. Did a factory reset a couple of weeks ago with no joy. I installed a screen fillter, left it for a couple of days, it went back to normal for about a week. Then the screen went green again. So i put the screen fillter on it, but this time it has not worked.

I had this tablet for 3 years.
Do i need a new one?

Thanks

You screen is probably on its way out. See if a local computer shop could repair it for you, and when I say a local shop, I exclude the likes of PCWorld/Currys!

If it's expensive to repair, (over £100) you'd possibly be better off buying a newer one.

Thanks for the advice. The colour fillter works a treat but sometimes crashes. i did that so i can see the scrčen without the green patterns on my screen, but i still get the green tint.
The guy in currys said he seen many tablets turn green over time, and that it might be a hardware problem.

I think i will get a new one now. Repairing it might be expensive.
