There's no need for the diary room these days when every conversation and nomination gets broadcast to the house.

Has that happened in other years, or just last year? I can't remember.

It's been happening the last few years now

No conversation or nomination is safe as them backstage seem to think it's fun to play back anything which will get the not rights arguing

The Diary room should be the one place in the house where housemates can vent in private, not have their every word played back just to get the arguments that TPTB want

They messed with the format even in series 1. Allowing some female housemate in who'd been watching the show to take the place of Nick was like a chink in the armour and the other housemates started to change their behaviour a bit. Then series 2 with the voting someone in instead of out twist and then it's gone on from there. Really we're the fools for falling for this back to basics social experiment tagline in the first place when it's nothing other than a tv entertainment show which they'll do anything they feel like to boost ratings, cause drama, get sponsors, make money etc.

I don't see how Claire's entrance was some kind of twist if that's what you're getting at. In those days it was BB rules that if someone walked or was ejected, they'd be replaced.

Yes they messed with format a lot in the Channel 4 days but now it's completely f**ked up beyond recognition on Channel 5 it's a different show with the same name.

It will get much higher ratings if it was still Big Brother instead of a clone of a ITVBe show no one watches

The idiots at Channel Shite refuse to accept that Big Brother in it's current state just isn't working.

Maybe it's downstairs as they have a disabled housemate selected already.

Or maybe it's just a simple redesign to make the house seem different to recent shows.

Exactly

If I was a HM these days I'd be working on the assumption that everything I said in the DR, including noms would either be broadcast or read out to the whole house at some point
