Well said, everything that was needed you just nailed it all on the head. I think some people just don't like to see her succeed and try to put her down but ATM there is a big buzz in britney camp and the whole world really wants to hear her new single. No one really gets that much buzz going quite like britney coz you can always count on her delivering.

Because people have different opinions maybe? I wouldn't imagine that would be too difficult to wrap your head around.
And I am a fan of Britney, gutted I can't go and watch her in Vegas (so not every fan is saying that) but everything seems so stage managed, she does very few interviews and when she does I just want to shake some passion into her.

I stand by my comments. The last time I saw her do any promotion in the UK was on Chatty Man for 'Britney Jean', and yes - she was totally void of any personality. Sorry if that upsets you

I think she's back to her happy self. Have you seen her People magazine photoshoot? She looked so normal and happy
The dark days of 2007/2008 are long in the past now and she seems to be enjoying her life again.

Well maybe back in her heyday it was. I know loads of people who like her who wouldn't be her typical target audience. My favourite lecturer at college is one of them. She's a 40-something law lecturer and she likes Britney and owns a copy of My Prerogative. She reckons Britney has some good songs but I don't know if she knows much about her personal life. She wouldn't play Britney songs all the time like I tend to do but she is a fan. She didn't seem embarrassed to admit it to me a few months back
I don't know what other music she listens to or if she even listens to other pop music!

I think My Prerogative probably highlights Britney at her prime and it seems to be an album that a lot of people own. As I mentioned above, even one of my lecturers has a copy and she wouldn't be your typical Britney or pop music fan. I think Blackout is her best album and Gimme More is one of my favourite Britney singles of all-time. Circus and Femme Fatale are good albums, though they do have a couple of turkeys, but tbh I thought Britney Jean was pants bar a few songs.

For some reason I highly doubt that, have an opinion all you like but your not basing it on britney of recently or judging her on the last few years and don't you think that if she isn't happy or lack of personality that maybe there is a problem and she is t happy, she's not gonna just fake how she feels just to stop you "a fan" from criticising her coz that makes you the ruder person.

You say your a fan and we all know that everything comes down to how happy or sad she is, if she's happy she's incredible and when she's not she's very distant and so on. I think she has improved in recent years, if you compare her dancing in her Vegas show to the Femme Fatale tour (which was just embarassing) but she's still a long way from what she used to be.
I was watching this video recently https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCLuZU5j2qc and thought wow her dancing is actually pretty good these days, but then noticed at the breakdown at 1:53 she's supposed to be mirroring the dancer's moves and if you look at the dancer compared....well, it's not the same is it.
This is from someone who used to be as much as hardcore fan as you can get, I'm still a big fan but I'm not gonna kid myself and say she has the talent she used to. It's really sad. I think she is happy but she's lost the drive big time.

If she's featuring on a Calvin Harris/David Guetta/will.i.am track with airplay and good video then yes, easily.
As for her on her own? Unlikely. Britney is one of those artists who don't do much promotion outside the US, and when she does come to the UK, they don't do the best they can, almost like they couldn't care less if it flops kind of attitude. Mariah Carey's team are like this and Ariana Grande looks to be following this path too.

Britney is doing Vegas purely for the easy money. I've not seen the show live but I've seen plenty of footage and - as she's been doing for quite some time - she's going through the motions.
She'll score a decent enough hit from whatever album she's going to release next but as soon as the album does drop the promo ends and the hits dry up. She's really just aiming at her core audience which she's lucky is sizeable. Casual music buyers couldn't give a sh*t about Britney.
As for being "dead behind the eyes", absolutely. Regardless of what problems she's had/having since Blackout she's been soulless. That crazy fan who defends her at all costs will no doubt disagree.
We're all entitled to our own opinions though.

yeh and to be fair on Britney, everyone's like that and everyone gets awkward when they are talking to someone that they don't really know. She had a very short interview with Mario Lopez recently https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGzykLl5KiA and you can tell she already knew him and felt comfortable with him. I love watching it as she seems like the old Britney and goes to show that its the interviewer that she struggles with sometimes
