Who do people think the big winners at the soap awards will be this year, personally I think EastEnders will batter the other soaps and win the most gongs based on their 30th what are people's thoughts?

Emmerdale deserves it in my opinion, but EastEnders will get it.

Hopefully EastEnders, as, imo, its the best soap by a landslide.

Probably EastEnders will be the biggest winners. I think Adam Woddyatt is the most certain winner. And I suppose the Deirdre trifle scene, for sentimental reasons rather than for merit.

I think Eastenders will do very well this year. The only other soap I watch is Corrie and 'enders has been light years ahead of it this time.

That said I'd love to see Sally Dynevor win best comedy performance and best partnership as Sally and Tim are brilliant.

The villain of the year list is weak - camp Callum and panto Nick Cotton? No thanks! It's been a bad year for baddies. I'd have gone with Rob on Corrie, despite him being a bit of an accidental murderer.

I think Kathy's return was the scene of the year for me but fully expect Deirdre and the trifle to get it, as a tribute to Anne.

I just hope Ryan Hawley bags best newcomer, but in recent years, the winners of that award have been gone to boring forgettable characters who have never had any storyline or impact. Nancy and Dexter are the two recent ones.

In order to validate such a statement you'd have to bother to watch more than 1 soap .

EE will obviously dominate being its anniversary year but if there's any justice then Ryan Hawley and Amelia Flanagan will win for Emmerdale. They deserve it.
