Missy to be involved in Claras exit astoryline ? (spec)
If Missy does return in the finale it would make sense. Last year it was revealed she brought Clara and the Doctor together. If she was the reason they part it would bring it full circle and give Doctor yet another reason to hate her.
![]() Missy doesn't have to kill Clara directly although she could easily if she wanted too. Remember what she did to poor Osgood when the Doctor offered to take her traveling?. Miss can be jealous of others around her "boy friend ". She believes the Doctor still cares about her even loves her. It could be as a consequence of something she does. Clara is so shocked and traumatised she has to walk away from the Doctor and Tardis. This time for good. Lots of possibilities. Including using Danny's memory Clara's love for him. Would Clara even consider taking her own life to be with him again ?. ![]() Know it is suppose to be a family programme and watched by young children. However Clara wouldn't be the first companion to die for love. River did to save 10. Amy let a weeping angel touch her so she could be with Rory in life and death. Technically the tragedy in New York was a murder/suicide. Whatever happens it will be sad when she does leave. Although it will give us a chance to get to know a new companion. ![]() ![]()

I think you're way off base in some respects but I can see Missy in Clara's last episode though.

I know the paradox undid it, so to speak, but Amy and Rory basically committed suicide in The Angels Take Manhattan.

I forgot about them jumping off the skyscraper. To be honest, I've blocked most of series 7 out of my mind. Bit of a rubbish series. Of course, they jumoed to save the day, not simply to kill themselves. Clara taking an overdose or jumping off a building just to be with Danny is a no-no. Clara sacrificing herself to save the day with the knowledge that she would be reunited with Danny is acceptable (but not something I want to see happen. I want her to be the first companion in NuWho to go with a happy ending.) |

A possibility.
![]() The presence of Clare Higgins in the cast for the first two episodes suggests the Sisterhood Of Karn may be appearing in the story. Perhaps the Sisterhood have possession of Missy's TARDIS and Missy wants Clara to help her get it back (on a promise that they can use Missy's TARDIS to help save the Doctor. Maybe Clara double-crosses Missy and goes off in her TARDIS on her own, or is forced to double-cross Missy by the Sisterhood or accidentally leaves Missy behind, And thus we have a furious Missy plotting revenge against Clara inn the series finale which wouldn't mean killing her but arranging something that keeps Clara apart from her Doctor for every more. Although - I gather both Moffat and Jenna talk about Clara not feeling she belongs on Earth so maybe if the Sisterhood are in the series, maybe Clara will leave the series by joining the Sisterhood.

Missy has been known to be quite a patchwork character. Her kind of love for The Doctor aswell as a kind of loathing, so Missy needs to reflect. Clara's love for The Doctor is stronger. If Missy and Clara had a battle, who would win or would they both walk away at the same time?
