SOTS is to remain at weekdays only

Big Brother's Bit on the side will again only be on weekdays at various times during the week. #bbuk

Me three, well nothing new with me with the show in this era

As is the case with the regular series nowadays seeing how they treat it as basically a sideshow these days as opposed to CBB

Really wish they would put the effort in with the regular series, instead of this rushed promotion they are throwing at us

10 days and counting, and we've yet to see one proper trailer (and I don't mean that crappy 30 second teaser) or any house pics

Can anyone honestly say they didn't see that particular final two coming last year

We should all know what the itinerary is by now in this era of the show:

Launch night twist which will fall flat on its face and every decent confident pretty young lady will get booed on the way in by those morons in the crowd, while the meatheads and thickos get cheered

BB tries to get them at each other's throats from the off with outside information, DR conversations and just general stirring

Then it gets gradually more nastier and unpleasant on the forum when some people don't get the result they want or if they don't agree with the edit or if their favourite is criticised. Not saying that about everyone, but every BB these days seems to bring in newbies who just come in to cause trouble if they don't like what they hear about their favourite housemate

Ma Willis will be cooing every time a boy and girl just even talk to each other as friends

Pointless segments galore on SOTS because they can't or won't show us what is actually happening in there on a screen behind them like they used to on Little Brother and Big Mouth, apart from those far away useless snippets we see in the gallery and the exclusives which we will see on the spoon fed highlights anyway

Really wish it was who stays/goes/wins, we the public decide but now it's THEY decide as it's just their way or the highway”

It's like the run-up to the general election, it's exciting

No pass to the final is a must.

So viewers get treated like idiots even more.

Haven't seen the preview this year and only know about the 'Timebomb' concept because I read it probably on DS

...........Maybe a brilliant bunch of HMs & a less interfering production team will ensure the civilian series is watchable for the right reasons?

One thing for certain this year - if there's any suggestion at all of a pass straight to the final again this year, then we will switch BB off and wait for CBB instead. We're not wasting a few months while the production team protect their chosen winner again like last year - i'd rather they just go back as much as possible to the original idea set in series 1... and more than anything else, cut out the external information flow to the house.

9 days and still waiting for something else to work with for the normal series, while the Summer CBB information is piling in with more housemate speculation

I would assume the countdown ads are starting tomorrow

Thought they already started? I saw a vid on TiBB with the music logo and "9 days to go", it was probably fan made then?

I am sure that the new series will provide a character or incident to allow people to vent their opinions.

There were countdown ads from seven days for last year, but I never saw any from five days onwards. One of the BB fansites like BBSpy would post each one as it appeared and I make a point of trying to find them online, but I never saw them.

I'm going on holiday the day after the opening show, (inconsiderate sods pulled the show forward without consulting me) so I am sky+ing everything then have a mega catchup session when I get back - including this forum

No matter how frustrated or infuriated I get with it, bemoaning the lack of live feed, wishing they could go back to the original values etc. ....... thinking this year will be the last - every year at that very first mention, my stomach does a double back flip with excitement!

Hmm. After watching every one since Big Brother 2000, I'm beginning to suspect I'm never going to be able to shake it off!

Shame!
