not just Liverpool's song, also Celtic and Bradford. The Bradford fire deserves just as much spotlight as the hillsborough disaster. On local radio somebody earlier requested this for Bradford fans, i've never heard this version before but its beautiful, if the Gerry Marsden version belongs to Liverpool then maybe this one can belong to Bradford in their quest for #JFT56

I just bought it on amazon AND itunes
I'd love it if this became the anthem for Bradford and put more spotlight on their quest for justice, same thoughts as the DJ

Not taking anything away from the horrible Bradford tragedy, but I prefer the song in it's original context, like this:

Agreed, soran. Carousel is one of my favourite films and to be honest I kind of resent how the song, which is so deep and meaningful in the context of the story and characters, has been "hijacked" by football.

I cannot stand that song only because I'm an Everton fan.

I still love the Gerry and the Pacemakers version best. (I don't associate it with football though).
