Samsung S5 and smart TV picture/video view

Hi, i have a Panasonic 42AS500 and a Samsung galaxy S5, problem im having, i can view my photos from my phone onto my tv by pressing the screen mirroring button on my phone but when i go to my videos on my phone the screen mirroring icon is not displayed,? My videos are all 4k so tried a video in HD and still no luck. hope someone can enlighten me? I know i can do it via the Panasonic Tv remote from the app store but i want to do it on the phone and not through a app (if that makes sence) cheers

Content can be set to with-hold screen mirroring. Why not get a hdmi cable for your phone ?

Thanks Graham for the reply, i don't want a cable i want to do it wireless! im very anal when it comes to things like this lol. what do you mean by "content can be set to with-hold screen mirroring"?? thanks

If the content provider doesn't want you to view the content on a large screen TV they can disable screen mirroring. A direct cable will usually allow you to watch anything (not found anything you can't watch).

Ok, just seems strange i can view photos but not videos? technology is going right over my head tbh! i see if my 9yr old can solve it? lol. thanks for your reply's mate.

Ok i did it! i clicked screen mirroring on my tv then done the same on my phone and all works well except i have no sound when playing videos? any ideas? cheers
