Not sure if its be done or not but I would love to see an IVF storyline as IVF is becoming more common now days.

I'm not a traditionalist and I do not intend for this post to be taken as a sideswipe at unmarried parents, but it would be really nice to see a couple meet, marry, then have a baby.

Just for example Melanine Owen, Natalie Evans, Mandy Salter and "Karin Smart" could all return and be possibilities for Lola's mum.

Not that I'm saying that should happen, just an example. I'm not sure Natalie would fit with the timeline anyway since she was in the show in the mid 90's”

Or this variation could work.

...and c) said accident being at EXACTLY the right time of the month for fertilisation to take place! (ooo I sound quite farmer-ish myself there talking about fertilisation )

That storyline would be groundbreaking for its uniqueness in a soap world where everyone always seems to be knocked up by their bit on the side or a random drunken fumble.

Kevin and Sally in Corrie met, got engaged and married within about a year .... and didn't have a baby til 4 years later!

That was nearly 30 years, mind. lol

Gail in Corrie has done it all ways with her 3 kids!
She and Brian got married and she was pregnant about 3 months later. So she was married before giving birth. Her second was a 'who's the daddy; storyline after her fling with Brian's cousin Ian. And of course her third was when she got pregnant by Martin - out of wedlock, as they say - and nearly had an abortion (imagine - no Demon)
But of course, they got married after Demon was born.
So yes, she's done it all ways!

It's just so boring and strung out...just makes watching any soap tedius and now we have the technology to figure out who a dad is in the first 3 months for a few hundred pounds especially if you where Linda Carter and raped like she was.

I dont really care who the dads are, everything is always sorted after the baby is born but we have to endure 9 months of moaning and to-ing and fro-ing and angst for no reason now we have moved on with the science.

And how come its always those that cheat once who end up pregnant ..you'd think you would take protection in that instance more than you would with your longterm partner.

Enough already soap writers.
