We've so far been informed billed this year's housemates as "eccentric, entertaining and unique"; the same old shit really. Under the direction of O'Connor who also worked on the final Channel 4 edition of Big Brother, can we expect to see a proper mix of good housemates?

The website has not been updated yet, but I think we'll have 12 housemates to begin with - since it's a time theme, 12 hours on a clock, etc. Could easily have 24 housemates have have X amount of them kicked out in the first few days, due to tasks?, adding to the 'no one is safe/ticking timebomb' theme; could also fit with them saying “Time may be a friend or an enemy and for some it may well run out…”.

I think the personalities of the housemates will be (perhaps not in this order):

1. Cocky self-assured ladies man
2. Token bitch
3. Token gay
4. Essex boy, could easily be housemance candidate 1
5. Older housemate who does nothing and is deadwood
6. Housemance Candidate 2, will be an attractive woman but thick.
7. Controversial character
8. Young, just out of school
9. Token minority
10. Slapper
11. An intellectual person
12. Nice person but deadwood, a la Sam Evans.

Basically the same as yours OP, but with a few add ons

1. Self confessed ladies man and meathead who thinks he is god's gift, and who constantly walks around without a shirt on trying to get a showmance going
2. Female who loves flashing her top bits to all and sundry, making a fool of herself in the process
3. Someone who says they are bisexual, but in reality has probably only had one drunken same sex kiss at a party
4. Resident thicko who lays it on really thick thinking they will be the next Jade or Nikki
5. Older housemate who will get picked off really early as they don't 'fit in' and will not be given a chance
6. Someone who says they will stir it up but will be as offensive as a wet lettuce
7. The baby of the group who will go far by basically doing nothing
8. Loudmouth who will be the villain of the series and will hang on in there until at least the halfway point or penultimate week and cause the viewers to combust when they keep staying
9. Token TOWIE wannabe from Essex
10. Really nice person who everyone will get behind only to be condemned as boring by TPTB because they didn't bitch or get in a showmance
11. Quirky lesbian, been a long time since we've had one of them in our show
12. Glamour model who will gun for the showmance with the resident meathead

It's interesting that all of them apparently have a Twitter account. Is that a necessity these days? I know many people do, but it would seem that at least one of them wouldn't be on Twitter. Perhaps Twitter was involved with the audition process this year?

Unless they'll just put 'none' for some of them after they go in.

Also, does anyone know if there'll be two Launch Nights again this year?

The past few years they've put the HM's twitter profiles on that section of the website. Sometimes they will not have one and it will say N/A.
