Even though we know it probably won't happen if you had to pick six ex-housemates to enter who would you pick?
Mine would be

Therefore there's a mix of channel 4/5 era housemates from across 15 years.

I don't mind ex-housemates for tasks..I wouldn't mind if a select few took over as Big Brother a bit like Celebrity Hijack....

...but I wouldn't want any ex-housemates as full time housemates again.

With Big Brother 2015 getting set to explode onto our screens with a new ‘Timebomb’ theme, here’s a look at what we know about the new series.



That Timebomb theme

This year’s Big Brother’s tagline is ‘Timebomb’, although it’s not precisely clear what this will involve.

There are rumours of past housemates returning but Big Brother has only teased: “The Housemates’ past, present and future will be in the hands of Big Brother.”

Show bosses explained: “From the moment the new Housemates walk through those doors they’ll enter the world of Big Brother: Timebomb.

“With Big Brother playing with the concept of time, the tasks, secret missions and twists promise to have tension, drama and intrigue. How will this affect the housemates? Time may be a friend or an enemy and for some it may well run out…”

Emma Willis and Rylan Clark are back as hosts

After a sudden departure from Bit On The Side and rumours of a move to The X Factor, it’s fully confirmed that Emma is very much sticking with Big Brother and is back to front this summer’s series.



Meanwhile, Big Brother’s Bit On the Side returns with Rylan Clark and a mix of celebrity panellists and an audience of BB fans to debate hot topics, reveal exclusives and go behind the scenes of the main show.

The Big Brother start date

There’s no need to wonder when Big Brother 2015 starts any more with the launch date confirmed for May 12 at 9PM on Channel 5.

And viewers in Ireland can tune in for the first time since the move to Channel 5 by watching on TV3.

A tiny bit about the house

There are no house pictures yet but we do know that the BB House has been totally revamped and is decorated in a sophisticated, sleek ‘Mad Men’ 60s style. The Diary Room is said to be back downstairs with a new layout inside.

CH5 have a much bigger budget for BB then CH4 did

Well that's just bad journalism, as again the apostrophe is in a position such that it is the past present and future OF the HMs!

I think it definitely fits in with the whole Timebomb theme, to have a few familiar faces return.

Imagine Big Brother rewinds the clocks to a particular week, of a particular task, in a past series as part of a task? that perhaps has a secret task in it.

I am just loving Big Brother since it's move to Channel 5.
I wasn't overly convinced at first but it's really hit it's stride.

The Celebrity version is better than ever and I actually look forward to the "new eye" every year for the summer series.

I'm loving that each series now comes with a theme at the beginning.
I wonder do Channel 4 now regret giving it up, seeing the success and it's revival on Channel 5.

You might as well save your time and disappointment and not bother watching

You can add fixed 'twists' and task pass conditions that aren't revealed until after the task to that list too

Looks like they're reverting to the formats used in seasons 11, 13 and 14 of U.S. Big Brother - i.e. mixing previous housemates with brand new ones through different twists.

Only 12 new housemates on launch night suggests we could be in for quite a few late entries.

I'm looking forward to it. It's something different. I know Big Brother isn't ever going to be what it once was, so I may as well go along with it and try enjoy in the ride!
