Paddy Mcguniess to guest star in CS!
Paddy will appear in six episodes as wilderness survival enthusiast Dougie Ryan, who meets up with the Tinkers and Dobbs on a camping holiday.
this sounds fantastic imho Please feel free to discuss http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/ne...#ixzz3YhNn9wG6 |

Noooooo!! How the hell can I get away from this guy?? He's even infiltrating my beloved Corrie now!
Is there no sanctuary left that ITV won't stick him in? ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm not so keen on these 'star' appearances myself, regardless of who the star is.
I assume they're brought in to boost ratings, but I think it would be far better in the long run for the Executive Producer and the writers to create better stories which rely less on stars and stunts, and more on character development. |

And thus begins the invasion of ITV's presenting pool into Corrie.
It'll be Schofe next.

I don't know if it's my computer but I read the title as Paddy Mcguniess to guest star in CSI and got confused.

Witless chancer. I predict he'll either go large, like he is on his other shows, in an attempt to make his appearance an 'event', like his mentor Kaye did, or take the more familiar route for comedians guesting on soaps and other serious dramas, and underplay it, like Mike Read when he first appeared in Eastenders, or Russ Abbot when he was in 'Spetember Song', to try and seem like he's a proper actor.
Either way, bad news for Corrie. Still, it's so awful at the moment, David Cameron could move in as the new landlord of the Rovers and it wouldnt get worse. |

I've spent the last few hours wondering why a thread about CSI was in Soaps.

Oh gawd .......Corrie slipping even further downhill
What Corrie should do is run their SL's by here first and they will soon see if its a goer or not. Paddy fecken Guinness isnt a goer is a dump the idea in the bin asap |

I wouldn't go as far to say I'm excited but at least there is a sound basis for his appearance (stranger on holiday). I'm dreading to hear how Sarah Harding's character will be introduced.
Sinead must be out of her wheelchair soon if she's going to take her chances in the woods. |

Corrie is a programme that many actors aspire to be in. Was Sir Ian McKellan desperate for work? I think not. |

He was class in Phoenix Nights, but I don't know what it is about him he's everywhere and a little to much in your face these days.

He is so OTT and not really known for his acting these days, not looking forward to him being in it.

Is this some sort of private bet between Tredwell Collins and Blackburn to see how many "celebrities" they can get on each other's shows? First one to book George Cloony to the Queen Vic or the knicker factory wins?

Remind me - how many nails are there left to go in Corrie's coffin again?

Oh joy. One of the most irritating people on TV. Not even Piers Morgan can match his ability to make me want to scratch out my eyes with a compass needle point.
