Just wondering if anyone has any recent reliable updates about what's happening with the album? Feels like forever since Baby Don't Lie and Spark The Fire! Wonder if those two songs will actually make the record in the end?

I've seen and heard absolutely nothing. I think those two singles flopping scared her record company into pulling the plug.

I hope she does make it to LP3 but it's been so long since TSE, does the general music buying public care? A real shame.

I hope she's still discreetly recording over the summer. Yes it's been so long since The Sweet Escape and now radio is more ageist than ever before. Would still love a new record off her none the less.

I love Gwen! But honestly I'm not too big on those first two singles. I wouldn't mind if they weren't on the album. She did one concert in LA where she did a ballad that was really lovely, I can't remember the name right now but I hope it's on the album.

i think that she needs to record with new producers ...pharell is producing a too predictable sound ....

I agree. I thought BDL was catchy and radio friendly. STF I thought was dated and another boring Pharrell production.

BDL was initially available in the UK for preorder on iTunes but removed after it flopped. STF never stood a chance.

Totally agree! Pharell is kind of repetitive in his sound. He did some demos for Madonna's new album which didn't make it on the album. As much as I love Madonna, I found them a bit boring. They have the same sound he always does.

Agreed! His sound is so predictable! I was not a fan of Happy at all!

I would rather her work with Pharrell than Calvin Harris, Guetta or Will.I.Am

I hope she gets Sia on board in terms of songwriting.
