This starts on Channel 4 on Tuesday and is written by Paul Abbott who I think is a brilliant writer. Hoping this is a good one. Anyone planning on watching it?

It's described here as an 'x-rated version of The Bill'. http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-en...-10199433.html

The trailer I've seen on C4 isn't great.

I hope it is good. I heard it being discussed on radio this evening and like the sound of it. Good cast.

It reminded me a little of Babylon. If it is similar it would be strange to have two shows on C4 like that pretty close together.

Saw the trailer I think it looks good, also like quite a few of the cast.

Yes, some pretty decent names for the type of show it is.

I've only seen Paul Ritter in Friday Night Dinner and it's a great role so will be interesting to see him in something else.

Any script with Paul Abbott's name on it is going to attract some decent names.

Looking forward to this. The trailer looks good.

It feels like they've been promoting this for about a century. Absolutely sick of hearing that 'who thinks that level of risk... is SEXEH?' line. I may give it a go.

I saw him in that and I know he's been in other stuff but maybe not big roles. He's in The Game, BBC2, Thursdays 9pm.

Trailer looks like it's going to be a giggle, fair number of actors with comedy chops.

I remember Ritter from being in Pulling, it was only small part in the special too.
Oddly enough I didn't connect Friday Night Dinner with the same guy, very odd that, just blanked him out.

Probably a good thing, in a good way. It's a totally different role so it shows he's versatile if you didn't place him.

Well, I'm not one of those people who has problems with actors in different roles anyway.
Just very odd to me, that I didn't connect him with Pulling, which is my mental starting point with him.

Just an aside...

I really like Joanna Scanlan in Getting On but then she was in Puppy Love so hope she is nothing like that in this programme.

The trailer is not really something to get excited about.

Surely no one would just have a slag off without having seen it so I must have missed it

Hope it is on catch up!

Yeah, it doesn't sound too good in the trailer.

Watched the trailer and it looks like something I'll like, so I'll be watching tonight. Not much else on although I might record Wastemen on BBC2, which seems to have a good rating and might be interesting.

Its the same writer I think.

It reminded me of a one off, or maybe two parter that was of a similar vein, indeed the Welsh actress Alexandra Roach in No Offense even reminded me of one of the characters in the one I can't place.

All I can remember is it ended with the trainee DC taking out the bad guy with her motorbike helmet at the end - can any one shed any light?

I've given up and gone back to the canal programme on bbc4. Who would of thought a silent boat trip could be so mesmerising? But no offence was just crap.

Seems like I'm the only one that likes it then.
