I bet it's Carla who puts a damper on her plans. Tracy will then blackmail Tony to cause a fire at Victoria Court.

Going on Corrie's recent form and if anything like the NTA stunt, it will be a load of contrived nonsense to capitalise on ratings and forgotten about a few weeks later.

The only vaguely positive thing I can see is that Tracey won't succeed in getting the Rovers. That really would have made me question whether I could carry on watching the show in it's current state.

Oh my God can you imagine Tracey as landlady in The Rovers Return? She would bar loads of people then Tony will step in and tell her to think of her finances. I can imagine her baring her teeth (the way she "smiles") and being rude to half the customers. She wouldn't be able to resist chucking her weight around. I think it would be funny but she would end up either selling up close to ruin or turning into someone approaching likeable behind the bar. Her best bet would be to stay in the back room while the likes of Todd mans the bar.
Anyway it looks like it will never happen. I agree that Carla might buy The Rovers. She might keep Michelle on as bar staff. I think Carla would make an excellent landlady. She's gorgeous, clever and sassy. She has a down to earth way about her that a good backstreet pub landlady needs. |

how has the nta stunt been forgotten about, sinead has only just left hospital after over than 3 months in hospital, and she still isnt back to normal.
I can't see why Corrie has to have some sort of sensational stunt during BGT week anyway. They would be better improving the every day quality of the show - I find it barely watchable these days, and I've loved it for decades. |

Reading the first post, there's me thinking "Who the heck is May?" "Did you mean Mary?" "And what's she got to do with Britain's Got Talent?" The I read the rest of the posts.
What has Britain's Got Talent to do with it anyway? |

Goodness me, I can't imagine Tracy starting the fire - surely that'd be a step too far for the character. In which case I'd guess it would be Tony, but that all feels a bit too similar to Karl's storyline with Sunita in the Rovers... that only happened about 2 years ago! Do the script writers really think we've forgotten the last fire?

I think it's too obvious that Tracy is the one that starts the fire. If it leads to Tony leaving (and I can't see how it couldn't, he'd either be caught and arrested, die or be wracked with guilt), then I'm happy for it to be him.
Hopefully this will be a Corrie stunt that impresses me for a change. |
