Gone viral today it seems, I now have Kelly Bright and Carter fangirls threatening violence against me for daring to have a different view to their own Oh dear, one Twitter page, entirely dedicated to all things Carter, has accused me of all people of having no life.

But seriously, people on here whine frequently about the Carters being overexposed, it is time to make your voices heard

You need to get a whole lot more than 31 to be taken seriously. 10,000 or more I'd say out of a viewership of aprox 7 mil. Still good luck.

Well I agree, but I have to start somewhere. I get no signatures if it is kept quiet, after all

Would rather fight, argue and sign a petition over something more meaningful. Something that may change people's lives.

I wouldn't call 31 signatures as going viral!

Even then you would need to present evidence that each signature came from a different IP address, otherwise it is pointless.

Get a life. You don't speak for the people and this petition is quite frankly pathetic.

Think of all the worthwhile things in the world you could spend some time focussing on. Find a charity perhaps and volunteer your time? Maybe just get a friend or two?

I do wish some people would t dismiss the idea of atleast trying to get something which both on and off this forum is wanted rather then just writing it off without trying.

Yes it might fail but it might not. Might as well try before we switch off which seems like most people seem to be doing for this reason... Carter exposure.

I don't see a reason why you need to be so rude about the op. Clearly on the Internet a lot of fans are sick of the Carter exposure but as characters are still liked. It's a common opinion but this negative and dismissive attitude towards petitions wiill get us nowhere but the continued screenhog carters.

Must you be so rude?

Although I don't agree with the petition, you guys don't have to act so overly negative.

I have signed it, but not sure if my details have worked.

I do like The Carters, but I want to see other characters like Whitney, Lola, Jay and Stacey getting stories, not just The Carters.

I would question that most people agree with the sentiments of the petition. There are a few vociferous posters on here, but they are way, way short of a majority. That's not to say I don't want to see more of the Masoods, Foxes, Stacey and Whitney.

You don't have to start anywhere there are other channels if you detest certain characters so much that you would make the time to start petitions.

There are as many people who like the carters as dislike them on here imo. It's also a fact that they are very popular with the viewing public as a whole

This petition is hilarious but everyone obviously has the right to create what they wish

It is all a bit funny seeing how people really, genuinely believe that their opinion is shared by everyone. If nothing else, these petitions are a reality check, I guess. DS really isn't reflective of the real viewership and our opinion rarely reflects anyone else's.

It's the social media version of angry from Manchester phoning up the Beeb to complain when two guys kiss before the watershed or someone used a bad word.

Starting a petition to stop petitions.

BIB: They've got a point. Talking about EE on here is one thing but being so caught up in it that you start a petition because of something you don't like in it is seriously obsessive.
