Having watched EE from the very start, I am thinking its getting silly now!

They bought Den back from the dead, with an OK reason behind it. Kathy is coming back, and at the moment we have no idea why she was faking her death or going into hiding, now we have to believe that Kat had no idea she gave birth to two children?!!

Having given birth to two children, believe me you certainly know about it! I understand she was young, but are we seriously meant to believe she was so out of it, she never knew she had given birth to two babies?

It would perhaps made more sense if one had been a still birth (though obviously not nice) to convince us she had no idea she had twins!

Sorry, but why couldn't they just leave that SL to how it was originally done rather than changing it again!

If it's not a still Birth I'm going to stop watching. It's a beyond stupid retcon.

That can be too much for people on here sometimes. They need everything to be handed to them on a plate.

Oh look, another person judging a story just as it starts. Then agian, it is the same with anything. Something happens that introduces new lore in Once Upon a Time, and people go on saying how it sucks, without knowing how it happens

That would be ridiculous, absolutely, they would not dare.

It's a pretty significant "Once Upon a Time" to mess with though. We're not talking about Minty's twin here.

The silliest story line on EE was Nick Cotton. He had come back for the sake of £10,000. He got his money at Christmas but then wanted 100k from Ronnie. He got that too but instead decided to try and kill some people by cutting the brakes.

After killing Kate and almost killing Ronnie most criminals would have got as far away as possible while they still had the money but not Nick. Instead the story got stupid when he decided to squat in the house next door to Dot in the Square where people were wanting to lynch him and 'The Police' were after him too. Far fetched???

Oh I'm sorry for having an opinion, and considering I have watched EE from the start does indicate that I do go along with storylines even though I consider them stupid and still watch it.

Yes I will see how it goes along, but I am sorry I think its slightly unconvincing to think a women doesn't know she has given birth to another child!

Of course she would know. The problem is with EE is they HAVE to do the twist. Making a very good 30 minutes episode is not enough they have to add 5 minutes on and make a twist up.

Like another poster on here, you are entitled to an opinion. It is a shame people are not allowed to have negative opinions about a soap story. I personally think it is ridiculous, Kat having a kid, without her knowing about giving birth to him.

I know what you mean OP, It's like we don't know what to believe anymore with all the history being changed.

Who said she can't have an opinion? People are just saying to wait and see how it plays out

Jesse was fantastic and it was Carter free

Personally, I find it a great plot twist...I'm pretty sure the EE bosses watch over these episodes before deciding on storylines like this. I think this should be given a chance before we judge it. All we know is the she has another son, but we don't know anything about him. He could have been put up for adoption? Kat was only 14, so it could have been a blur or her mum made her keep quiet. I know we'd never here the end of it if it was a Carter, but this will firmly put the Slater's at the centre in due course

I do think it ties with the general camped up feel of eastenders these days as opposed to the more gritty show we once had
