It's more likely that the twin *isn't* Sean given that Jean is his mum!

I agree. I don't usually jump the gun and wait for stories to play out - but this is ridiculous.

My only thing with Sean being the twin, when he was in it, it was assumed he had the bipolar condition like Stacey and Jean.
Also, if Sean was Kats son, in her funny moments, wouldn't Jean have said something like "Sean isn't my son" or something like that? |

Jean's doolally so that bit of history can easily be changed. Maybe she just imagined giving birth to Sean.

I don't like the way this producer seems to be rewriting eastenders history, he needs to go as soon as possible

so kat has two sets of twins
we all know she has Bert and Ernie but now she has Zoe and unknown. I know there are two different fathers but hell this must be rare but what the heck sure its a soap :)
on another note I hope to god they don't make Sean the mystery son. I am sick to death of family trees changing just for a storyline. we already have had Shirley turning out to be micks mum which in my opinion should never have been done and now it looks like Kathy's husband Gavin will turn out to be Sharon's dad which would make a brilliant dynamic but it is just ott. btw brilliant acting from Jessie Wallace tonight. |

DTC is slowly morphing into Kirkwood.
- Numerous baby plots. - Celebrity stunt casting. - Far-fetched unlikelihoods. |

I'm not sure it is all that rare. My god mother had a twin brother and two of her elder sisters were also twins. So basically, :er Mum had 7 children which included two sets of twins. My godmother went on to have twins herself.
If a woman produces two eggs each cycle, it isn't that odd that both eggs should be fertislised, resulting in twins. |

I bet it would be more common but when people have twins the desire to have more kids is probably lessened

It does happen, although statistically it is pretty rare. |

Twins are more common from a family where someone has a had twins before and more likley to be passed down mainly down the female decentants. Charlie/Harry/violet any of them could be twins or their parents?

I knew someone who was a member of a family with three sets of twins - 2 girls, 2 boys and a boy and a girl.

DTC just couldn't resist another stupid retcon, could he?
We've had Shirley and her re-written past, Nick Cotton's never before mentioned wife and son, Shabnam having a baby by Dean when he wasn't even in town at the time she supposedly fell pregnant and the implausible, still to be explained resurrection of Kathy. And now this utter nonsense. And why? What was the urgent need for another long lost offspring plot anyway? The line has well and truly been crossed. What's this idiot going to dream up next, I wonder? The arrival of the third Mitchell brother who the family disowned in the 80s and vowed never to speak about again? Can't believe people are praising this. I'm sure if something like this happened in Coronation Street, the forum would rip the storyline to shreds. |
