BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has become embroiled in a bullying row after turning on a singer in tonight’s show.

By Peter Dyke / Published 2nd May 2015

Amanda Holden BGT Britains Got Talent judge HORRIFIED: Amanda laid into singer Aaron Marshall after his Frozen performance [ITV]

She could face the axe after after attacking Aaron Marshall for murdering her favourite Disney song.

He performs a scary out-of-tune version of Let It Go from Frozen, shouting the lyrics in a heavy metal and goth style.

Furious Amanda, 44, presses her buzzer within seconds claiming he has ruined her favourite ditty.

She rants at the 20-year-old: “Get off. Get off.”

Seconds later she barks: “It’s like Satan singing.”

“I found that offensive. It’s a big fat cold icy frozen ‘No’ from me”

then she gets booed by the audience when she bitches to the Bristol wannabe: “I really hope you lose your voice this afternoon.

“I found that offensive. It’s a big fat cold icy frozen ‘No’ from me.”

Fellow judge Alesha Dixon, 36, tells dad-to-be Aaron: “I think you’ve upset Amanda.”

However Simon Cowell, 55, winds her up even more by saying: “I can hear you doing a whole album of classics like that.”

Amanda’s antics could spell curtains for her. They mirror a recent event on X Factor in New Zealand when TV judge Natalia Kills, 28, viciously slated singer Joe Irvine.

She told him: “You’re a laughing stock. It’s cheesy, it’s disgusting.”

The next day, following uproar from viewers who branded her a bully, she was fired.

A show source said: “Viewers will be shocked by Amanda’s outburst over a Disney song.”

Other highlights on tonight’s show include a middle aged dance troupe called Old Men Grooving who impress Cowell.

He says: “You made dad dancing cool.”

The show also features some acts trying for fame second time around. Singer Laurie Neale, 59, who performs with his three sons, has auditioned for both The X Factor and The Voice before but flopped.

Dancer Jonathan Lutwyche, 15, from Gibraltar, fails to mention he holds world titles. Wacky George Vernon, 66, has auditioned for Big Brother.

And 12-year-old Maia Gough is a Fame Factory Theatre School pupil who has appeared on CBBC Does Glee Club.

Last night a Britain’s Got Talent spokesman said: “Amanda Holden is not risking the axe from the show.

She gave an honest critique of the performance.”

The difference between Amanda and Natalia Kills is that Natalia did it live. There was no escape from the public ire for her.

Simon could very easily get Amanda off the hook here by simply not allowing the footage to air. If it does air, then perhaps it's not as controversial as it sounds.

But what does Amanda Holden bring to the show, nothing that I can see other than helping to make Cowell look good
Along with Walliams I think it's time to say Goodbye

It was silly of her to say what she said.
But I do wonder if Simon had said what she did, whether or not the audience would have booed him, personally I don't think so.

Complete fiction from The Star here, but unsurprising.

The whole "facing axe" thing is likely rubbish, but I have no issue believing that Amanda gets unnecessarily harsh. She's done it before.

Actually, I remember her saying "Get off! Get off!" in the trailers, I assumed it was towards a difficult contestant causing trouble with the judges. It's ridiculous if she reacts like that just because she doesn't like someone's performance.

What a surprise, the papers making something out of nothing. Amanda wasn't serious.

just watched it - it's hardly "bullying" for gods sake. she's just having a bit of a silly paddy. Nothing remotely serious.

Cowell was an idiot for putting him through. I've seen people with much more talent than that lad being rejected. Cowell's just shown how incredibly unfair he is. What an idiot.

Edit: As for The Daily Star, this shows that they're laughable.

Disagree. I think these 4 are the best BGT has had, go well together.

Yeah I agree, really like these four together. Think they've got it right and shouldn't change it.

Load of fuss over nothing - surely some sort of joke that Amanda could face the chop for valid criticism of that so called 'singer' - he was truly awful and murdered that song. It was all done in a fairly jocular fashion anyway - I didn't see any nastiness whatsoever. I really like Amanda Holden - very much an integral part of the show for me.

I don't believe for a second that Amanda would lose her job over this - Simon will probably love what she did.

However, she is a pouty spoilt little madam.

I think there was an underlying humour in her over the top reaction to the guy's performance. It was nowhere near bullying, she just had a childish little strop, he didn't seem bothered and everyone else in the room was on his side anyway.

I do get the impression Amanda is a genuine fan of the whole nauseating, sugary "Disney Princess" phenomenon, which doesn't do much to raise her in my estimation.

The biggest surprise was that the other three judges voted the guy through, I liked him but I thought he was doomed the moment he started singing.

Some people have clearly never seen a pantomime before.

Whatever you think about Amanda, in this case she was quite right.

That guy was completely, utterly and totally useless. He even made the terminally awful dog acts look like entertainment.

They only put him through to annoy Amanda Holden, not because of the (terrible) quality of his 'singing'.

He wasn't terrible. I feel people who thought he was terrible or rubbish or wasn't a singer don't get the whole metal or death metal genre. Its more than just getting up on stage and growling. You need to prepare your voice with vocal exercises and other build up and post singing activities. You are going to throw your voice if you don't. Its pretty much the same techniques as a normal singer its just a different style.
