He is absolutely gorgeous but not as gorgeous as my yellow labbie was. I adore labradors, they are simply the best.

I thought it was going to be a puppy! Lol, looks nice though, I prefer the black coats, a lot shinier and prettier imo... I think the yellow coats can go a bit discoloured as they get older, as long as woof is happy, it's all good!

It's like kids I guess, you're always gonna see them as beautiful when you love them!

She's lovely, Labrador's are great dogs.

How old is she, did you just get her?

We have a 10 month old Fox Red Labrador that we got 3 month's ago, he's great fun. He loves to howl before and after going for a walk.

She is 4 years old, we bought her off a farmer at the beginning of this year who said that if we don't, he will shoot her, but yet she is in perfect health!

I think the yellows range from almost a foxy red right through to white, our Elsie is a dark golden colour but some of her sisters were nearly white.

We have a yellow Freddie 9 now but a grey old man, hes walking mate, shes black 10 this month not a grey/white hair on her.
Even the vet said no idea why the golds go grey quickly.

she's lovely
Nice to see she's allowed on the furniture

We've got 2 lab crosses, Molly is crossed with a collie and is incredibly bright.
Suzie is crossed with a Staff, but shows non of he staff traits, only the loving side of a Lab. Both are black

She's impossible to stop from going on the furniture.

That's total madness.

She'll be looked after now.

Our lab would never sit on the furniture, he was trained from a puppy and if you asked him to jump on it he would not. I hate pets on the furniture, it stems from being a teenager/young woman at home, our dog was allowed on the furniture and I could never sit down because I would always be covered in hair, not good if I was going out.

The key is wear clothes that the hair doesn't stick to, can't imagine being too worried about hair to ban mine from a cuddle on the sofa.

Oh mollie we gave him lots of cuddles on the floor, he was happy and loved by us all. He hated being cuddled anyway, he just put up with it. Labradors are too big for furniture anyway.

She's beautiful! She is so like our last dog who had those amber eyes which made her so utterly gorgeous. If you ever need to re-home...

Funnily enough we acquired our woman from a guy claiming he'd shoot her if he hadn't found a home for her by the following week. She was no use to him because she was gun-shy and he'd got a pup from her so wanted rid.

Don't think he really would have but he'd been putting more and more pressure on us to take her when he was due to go on holiday and was adamant he wasn't paying kennel fees for a dog he wasn't going to keep. Pretty sure he was bluffing but it worked and we gave in. Best decision we made - best dog you could ever meet.

The current cheeky blighter is another matter. Will never veer from a lab again. Super dogs.
