Hulk Hogan has been tipped to take part in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother 2015.



Th Daily Mirror newspaper reports that the American wrestling star Hulk Hogan has been offered “mega bucks” to star in this summer’s show.

And according to the tabloid, Channel 5 bosses are hope that the 61-year-old will prove to be one of the more outspoken housemates when the new series starts.

Having risen to fame as a wrestler, Hulk – real name Terry Gene Bollea – has gone on to do all sorts from acting and music to having his own reality telly show.



Therefore it’s perhaps not so surprising he’s being considered for CBB.
The upcoming summer series of Celebrity Big Brother is said to have a ‘UK v US theme’ with a range of celebs plucked from both sides of the Atlantic.

Along with Hulk, potential celebrity housemates on the ‘US side’ could be David Hasselhoff, Lindsay Lohan’s mum Dina, reality personality Farrah Abraham and model Janice Dickinson, who is reportedly getting £300,000 for her appearance.

Those on the UK side are tipped to include former The Apprentice candidate James Hill, TOWIE’s Gemma Collins and model Keeley Hazell.

The new series of Celebrity Big Brother 2015 kick off in August after the upcoming run of ‘normal’ Big Brother which has now been confirmed to start on May 12.

As if the Hulkster is going to lower himself to this show

Hulk Hogan has a legends contract with the WWE where they give him WWE promotional related work to do throughout the year. Part of which is acting as "General Manager" for a tour they have in Australia in Mid August...and considering BB is running earlier this year it would put Hogan on the other side of the planet while CBB is getting underway.

The guy is eternally loaded, he doesn't need this kind of show in any way shape or form.

Don't think the hulk would ever appear in cbb they couldn't afford him.

They could afford: Stephen Baldwin, Michael Madsen, and Evander Holyfield.

Doubt this will happen but they really should look at getting someone from the wresting world on to the show - lots of weird and wonderful people with stories to tell

I wonder if he will enter by tearing his shirt off and doing putting his hand by his ear to capture the cheers from the crowd.

They've had former A- Listers before as I said.

So I don't see why not. You have to remember that Hulk Hogan was a big star in the 80's/90's. Those were decades ago, his time has passed.

He's not as relevant as 'The Rock' for example. Don't forget 'The Rock' was also able to launch a successful movie career under his real name Dwayne Johnson.

Hulk tried to launch a successful movie career but didn't most if not all of his films flop?

I feel like his son, daughter or ex-wife would be more likely.

My brush with the famous was when I lived next to Buddy Rogers and his son David ...Dave knocked out my little sisters front tooth when playing on our lawn and I also met 'Superfly' Snuka.

I'd rather see the hulk on i'm a celeb than CBB. I think he would crack up sooner with the tasks in the jungle than in the house. I think everyone would fawn over him on CBB and he would just bore us to death like alexander o'neal.

I would actualy tune in if he was in it (especally if they putJesse Ventura in as well -those two do NOT get on.

But I think other posters are correct. he'd never do it.

I remember watching 'Hogan Knows Best' on MTV years ago. What a motley crew they all were back then. I read they have all gone their separate ways now. The son (Nick) spent some time in jail.

I agree. Suspect one of Hulk's family would be far more likely than Hulk himself.
