Jackson Martinez is rumoured to move to us, as is Schneiderlin. If we can get a deal for Czech on top of the other two, that would be a good summer. Wenger tried to sign him before, but couldn't get the work permit and the following year, he went to Chelsea.

Good confidence boost before the cup final. It was needed.

Team needed freshening up. You wonder why Theo didn't start more games recently especially as Giroud was going through a dry spell. Sanchez still not being rested. Dear leader must know something we don't!

Just feels like we've been here before and he will end up at Man City.

I seriously doubt Arsenal would sell him to City if he goes he is going out of the BPL.

Didn't think losing Suarez would cause them to drop 5 places from last season. Implosion or what.

Just seen the first half goals. Wilshere has a knack of scoring goal of the season type of goals. His goal was a screamer with excellent technique.

I liked Theo's 2nd goal too. Typical striker's goal. Very sharp.

Would have been nice for once not to concede the obligatory goal.

Who could blame him. Injuries aside, Wenger has never really played him as much as his talent deserves.

I have to disagree. Bar this season, when he's been fit invariably he starts. OK he scored a hat trick today against an average mid-table team with nothing to play for, but on the whole he's too inconsistent and injury prone to be getting an improved contract when he's already on £100k a week.

Recent history says we sell players to our rivals - especially City, I can't see why you'd think we wouldn't.

Arsenal's PL season compared to last

- Finished 1 place higher
- 4 points less
- Scored 3 more and conceded 5 less

Giroud's in such poor form and Alexis showing that he is human, so that it would be madness to sell Theo. Welbeck isn't the answer either, a new top class striker is top of the list.
GK too. Ospina is a good keeper, but not quite good enough IF we have ambition. Always the big If though.

Happy days though, no qualification for the CL. Should be easier to get new signings and more rest for the South Americans who have the Copa America to play in. Chile expected to go far in that one.

Let's not get carried away with "progress". We were awful and owe a huge debt to Alexis Sanchez for 1st half of the season.

Does Wenger play Wilshere or Ramsey in the Cup Final? Theo or Giroud (or both?)

Nice to end the Premier League season on a high, gives us confidence going into the final. Walcott and Wilshere should both start that game I think.

I'm hoping he changes a habit of a life time.
