Santi could be long term. Knee ligament damage. Well done Wenger, leaving him to play the 2nd half with that. Shades of Ozil, when the German medical team had to intervene.
Gutted. Think Wenger used his 3 subs so couldn't take him off? Regardless, 2 of those were forced on him, 1 of which could have been avoided had he rested Alexis.

Will probably have to move Ramsey into the middle now.

Probably yes, he wants to play more centrally anyway, good opportunity for him to prove himself.

We'll probably aee Ox taking the wide right position until he gets crocked again.. With a bit of luck, Walcott will be available by then.

I think when Santi first pulled up, Wenger had used 1 sub. Anyhow, better to play with 10 men than have a key player out for even longer as he played through serious injury.
Again, baffling decisions although the thinness of the squad doesn't help. Ozil is now playing every minute, which isn't going to end well.

Anyone else got a problem navigating in and out of the various forum threads using the top bar? I can only click on 'forums' then re-navigate. I can't click on 'football'. Chrome.

Being reported Santi is out for 3 months.

He has to buy in January now and not at the end of the window either.

I know I'm deranged (long term exposure to Wenger does this to you) but I'm hoping Liverpool do well under Klopp and the board realise what a younger, more dynamic, modern, tactically aware manager can do for a bunch of average - good players. Early days, but the injection of energy and belief is there already.
Our set up is un grand bit jaded.

Knowing Arsenal, that's a conservative estimate.

ODL on the team news...

We will make a decision on Saturday on Koscielny and Walcott, they could both make the squad. Gibbs is available again for the weekend.

on Alexis, Cazorla and Arteta...

At the moment on Alexis, Santi and Mikel, we don't know how long they will be out for.

Good to have Walcott back soon, and I suspect that Ox will be fit to play on Sat. Should be 3 points, let's hope the Orcs can do us a favour...

Be easier for us if we just issued an "uninjured" list instead, be quicker too.

Didn't realise that Gibbs had not been injured to have become injured again. It seems that some of our players are just there to give our medics something to do.

Maybe if this was happening (or better used to) at Chelsea...

Doesn't really matter if Gibbs is injured or not anyway. Apart from being a bum on a bench he is totally superfluous as long as Monreal remains fit.

True, although I did like his cameo against Spuds.

Gibbs too? Squad disappearing. How long before Sanogo gets recalled (where IS he? Ajax didn't want him?)

Wenger says Sanchez 'could have been killed' being pushed into the hoardings. And that he kept asking Santi if he wanted to come off and Santi said not. Both of which are very unlikely to be true.
Santi has reportedly gone to consult a surgeon in Spain, who does sport injuries.

Koscielny, Ox and Campbell start. Walcott makes the bench. Also good news Defoe is out injured.

Need to take advantage of City's slip up again. No excuses.

Would be good to be able to give Walcott a bit of a run around for say 20mins, hopefully say 3/4-0 in front with no pressure on him.

Defoe our defo good news. Bit of early pressure on Cech, a couple of saves so far. One more save please for my fantasy footy, then just close the door!

Man City dropping points is good news indeed, got to make it count now!
