Indeed, Chelsea winning tomorrow night will finish off a decent weekend. Now keep the momentum and begin to pull away from the others please.

Great footie day and top of the league for 24 hours at least!

No midweek game so should be fresh to face City at the Emirates.

Another good win for us and a loss for the Totts which should shut them up and put them back in their place. Top of the league, I'll take that for now.

It's been a good week. I suppose my only concern is that Wenger's thinking seems to be dictated by what's currently going on, so if we are CURRENTLY playing well he won't strengthen the squad and if we aren't he will panic buy. It would be nice to see a bit of medium and long-term planning.

I'd much rather Leicester got something, they will not continue this run they're on. Seeing chelsea/moureen struggle tickles me, if I'm being honest, a draw tomorrow would be great!

Yeah, me too. I just can't resist a chuckle at their predicament.

Sounded like we played within ourselves and possibly took our foot off the pedal at 2-0 but a no thrills win even at Villa is more than fine, considering the other results today. Am not sure I have ever known such an unpredictable season with everyone capable of beating everyone. It's a punters nightmare.

Good to see Ramsey score again, can't be coincidence now's playing in the middle!

Watched the match with a friend of mine who is a big Arsenal fan, we take it in turns to watch each others teams.

A well deserved win, Arsenal were in total control of the match. Villa were shocking and are going to struggle they on six points at the moment six behind Sunderland.

A good display, rounding off a great week for you.

A draw would be great but I'd like to see a couple of Leicester defeats to give us some distance. Might as well start tomorrow night I'd say. Maureen is just plain boring and lacking in persona nowadays which I guess had to happen at some point. This Chelsea side is by far the worst of the Abramovic era.

Just saw this on Twitter:

'Ozil heads down the tunnel after being substituted. A Villa fan gives him an earful of abuse. Ozil looks at him and blows a kiss'.

LOVE Ozil!! People haven't been appreciating him enough in the past, but this season he has really shown why he is one of the best in the world. Absolute top top player. He may not always work hard, but he works smart! As Bayern legend Mario Basler used to say, he's not a marathon runner to run continuously for 90 minutes.

We were left with Atletico, Zenit or Barca and drew the hardest of the lot!

There's two ways of looking at it, either they knock us out so we can concentrate on the league or we beat them and it gives us confidence for the rest of the season.

That's probably the best way to look at it. I may have to report this post, it contains far too much common sense!

Ah well, you gonna have to beat them all if you want to yada yada tada, more cliche ridden banality, blah blah blah!

Will be very tough...

Well, we got the nightmare draw. Obviously no game is easy at this stage (and we know all too well that just because a tie is easy on paper, it doesn't mean we will go through), but it would have been ideal to avoid Barcelona. Can't see how we can possibly beat them but you never know.

Some great draws in there though - Juventus v Bayern and Chelsea v PSG stand out as well as us v Barcelona of course.

Defence is their weakness, midfield and attack they have the best players in the world. I think we are more organised these days to give them a game. Hopefully Coquelin will be back by then.
