Not clinical enough. Should be 3-0 up not just 1-0 like it is now.

2-0 now, it looks like.
Another assist and goal for Ozil

Ozil MOTM again. Great run in the box and nice goal. Chambers had a solid game today in the middle.

Walcott spurned too many chances. Hope he brings his shooting boots next game.

Top of the league. Another clean sheet for Cech.

Oh yeah, breaks the PL record for most clean sheets. Well done Cech.

What's the overall record.

Not sure but the CL record is (was?) 51 by Iker Casillas. Not sure how many CL clean sheets Cech has now - 47 I think at least.

I'm surprised in the 2nd half Bournemouth had 60% possession.

just seen a story that Ajax have booted out Sanogoals and he's on his way back to us in Jan.
I suppose he's on a very long contract, worth more a week than most of us earn a year?
No-one will want him on loan.......another one to clutter up the squad until his contract expires?

yep, De Boer's definitely not happy with him (Ajax is my 'first' team on account of being born and bred in Amsterdam, so I follow them closely), He mentioned the other day that he´s nowhere near fit enough to play more than 45 mins and has been pretty much frozen out. From what I´ve seen, he wasn´t playing well at all, he´s much more suited to Rugby from the viewpoint that one´s meant to blast over the bar in that particular sport. Certainly not from a physical POV though...

Good result at Leciester. Still top.

Finishing 2015 at the top.

Here's hoping for a better 2016.

Would have preferred a Leicester win tbh. Man City are the main threat and I want there to be as much daylight between them and us, still a draw isn't a bad result. We are at the halfway stage and top the table but it's just window dressing at the moment.

What's better than 1st?

0.5th?

Well, as unlikely as it'll be at the end of this season: being top and Spuds relegated.

Happy 2016 fellow Gooners.

Mohamed Elneny has apparently passed a medical and work permit is being arranged. While he's not a marquee signing, it would mean more bodies in midfield. Worth a punt, I feel.

Still, could do with less injuries etc, but hey, we are The Arsenal and a full sick bay is to be expected...

Looking at the squad vs league position, we're doing better than expected. If we can maintain our normal end of season form, we've got a great chance indeed. Hopefully Sanchez will be back soon and he'll bang in some goals again and Özil continues his great run of form.

This is a strange season and I can see city dropping points the next couple of games. If they do, we may have a buffer when we play Pool in the 2nd match in 2016. Firstly, we need to hammer newcastle tomorrow and work on our GD.

HAPPY NEW YEAR fellow gunners!

Happy New Year gooners. Hope we can finally find a way not to mess up winning the league when it's up for grabs.
Was hoping to get exchange tickets for tomorrow but the official site delisted all exchange tickets from lunchtime yesterday ( isn't it all electronic?).

Let's just hope he's not another Kallstrom.

I've got a feeling Man City are going to come on strong in the second half of the season so we can't afford any more abberations like Southampton.
Newcastle need to be swatted tomorrow.

2016 - Hopefully the year of The Ox. I've always rated him highly but am now starting to have doubts. With all the injuries he really should be stepping it up at the moment and showing what a big player he is for us, But he's been dire.
Let's hope he can find some form in the second half of the season.

Yes, don't want to build my hopes up. Well actually I do but it isn't a wise thing to do!

Oh no, another Kallström would be a disaster yes. This chap seems to be a useful and experienced 'box to box' type, but then again so did kallström...

Agree with your Ox comments, like you I like him and he works hard, a but like Wilshire. Both are true gunners and will be useful when (if) fit. Decent squad players to have.

City will play a huge part, it will be a case of who messes up less in the end. With a bit of luck, watford will grab a point tomorrow and we can deal with at least one inevitable brain fart.

With our genius of a manager you always have to be aware that's a very real possibility but I've seen a few articles that suggest Elneny might actually be an astute buy. Of course, simply saying that out loud means he's probably going to fail miserably.
