Injury update:

‘Alexis could feature next week,’ he said. ‘Coquelin is running again and hopefully Cazorla will be back by mid-February.’

Mohamed Elneny's also expected to be announced soon. Could this be our year??

Well, they have been consistent.

Consistently in our shadow...

Joking aside, they're in with a shout of finishing Top 4, and if this weird season continues quite high up there... As long as we can turn the usual away defeat or home draw into wins, we'll be OK for the title.

The Pool game will be a huge test, hopefully Sanchez will be available for that.

Lets see how they cope if they pick up a couple of Injuries. They've basically had a settled team all season, no wonder they're consistent.

Looking forward to seeing Alexis back.

Thing is with that lot down the road, they have a good run and then they get over excited - the "mind the gap" year being a case in point

Apparently we've made a bid for Aubameyang - "reliable jouranlist"

I'm a bit nervous today - I dont think we should take Sunderland lightly.

I thought Ospina would be playing.

Ospina has a slight groin strain. He would have started otherwise I would have thought.

Other than that the team is still stronger than I expected as well.

Reine-Adelaide and Arteta on the bench.

Good win.

Can we make it 3 FA Cup wins in a row? Has any team ever done that before?

Yes, apparently in the 80s some time. The 1880s...

According to Wikipedia a team called 'Wanderers' won it 3 (4?) times in a row in the 1870's. Wanderers were a team made up of former public schoolboys, from London.

Bet that doesn't happen very often.
Exactly the same result and exactly the same scorers as the recent league match.

Fat Sam's lot can sod off for their well deserved winter break on 4th round weekend now.

Massive week coming up.
Any chance of Sanchez being back do we know?

Disgraceful the BBC leave our match so late on Match of the Day despite being double cup holders and 4 goals to see. They even showed the mind-numbing Man U game first, complete with Michael Owen on co-commentary and Lawrenson on round-up.

Michael Owen was brain numbing.
