I was thinking the same thing. It bodes well in a way because it shows we can score even without Alexis. I dont know why some people dont like Giroud.

Well done Everton. Now for us to capitalise.

I would have preferred a draw in that game, but oh well.

Nice. St Totteringham Day edging closer.

Looks like Leicester are going to carry on being our closest challengers.

Leicester are going nowhere!

Well-taken goal by Giroud.

Missed opportunity. No closer to winning the league.

Next week: Stoke away.

Still have to go to Spurs, West Ham, United and City, and relegation scrappers Sunderland.

haven't seen sitting back from so early like that since watching serie A in the 80s. It didn't usually work then either. We just kept giving them the ball when we did have it.
A huge opportunity blown. Think Cech saw the shot late but imagine he'll be disappointed he didn't get a stronger hand on that. Very tough conditions though

Yep.

Shame we couldn't extend our lead. Yet another missed chance.

Stoke next. We better be on top of our game for that one. None of this lethargical start and then frantically playing catch up!

Disappointing but this has been quite a good day. Thought it would be a draw at the start of the game, annoying the way it happened. Man City drew at home and Tottenham lost.

Same as last season. They got us with a last min equaliser. Feel we invited them on to us by sitting too deep. Ox has regressed and offered very little when he came on. Arteta should be nowhere near a game like this. Big two points dropped.
