everyone says 'noone wants to win it' which is true of us and City so far, but not Leicester! We must get more players fit soon, can't rely on Ox, Arteta, Flamini.

Really disappointed. Perfect opportunity to put a marker down tonight - we just sat back again and invited them on - why do we do that?

It's kind of understandable in a tight game away from home. It's not just about sitting back, it's about the opposition pushing on to get an equaliser.

Next match - Stoke (away) - unfortunately we always lose these games. Then Chelsea (home) - fear that might just be a draw.

Same as last season. They got us with a last min equaliser. Feel we invited them on to us by sitting too deep. Ox has regressed and offered very little when he came on. Arteta should be nowhere near a game like this. Big two points dropped.
Point gained considering City drew, but then again Arsenal cameback twice and were ahead..........silly points dropped.

Don't expect anything at Stoke, so a win at Chelsea is a must.

I don't think it was just that, Liverpool threw the kitchen sink at us at the end and resorted to long ball stuff. I know the last minute goal is a sickener but any other season we'd be happy enough with a point up there especially since we went behind twice.

Felt we gave the initiative away when Walcott and Campbell came off with still over 15 mins left. We really needed to turn the screw and get that 2 goal cushion. At least City didn't win but can't help but feel this may cost us in May. Actually feel quite confident about Stoke. Think we are battle hardened after tonight and we can come away with something.

Agreed. Felt we sat back as soon as Giroud scored when we should have played our normal game. I think Wenger was thinking we would get a goal on the break.

His subs were poor. Maybe one too many.

All 3 that were taken off were knacked and werent tracking back as well. Both Moreno and Clyne were starting to find loads of space.

We've sat back like that and soaked it up loads over the last 18 months (Bayern at home etc,) sickening to conceed such an awful goal but the character to come back from behind twice was heartening. In other years we've just been rolled over after conceeding early in big games.

At the start I would have taken a draw; it was a shame in the circumstances not to win though, despite coming back from a goal behind twice. At least we didn't lose, but now we must win against Stoke.

If we play like that against Stoke, I think we can win.
Gutted about the late goal, but I would have taken a point at the start I guess and we must have played well to come from behind twice.

I don't see Liverpool as that big a deal these days. People saying they would have taken a draw from the outset. Bollocks to that! I was confident we could win this but I also appreciate they have good support and attacking the kop end trailing by a goal then calm heads were needed by us. They are on okay side but nothing special. The Anfield atmosphere, especially under the lights can be intimidating and they seem to raise their game against Arsenal but feel we let them off the hook tonight.

I wouldn't mind if this was our only signing to be honest. We still have Sanchez and Cazorla to come back. I want a world class striker but we're not going to get him in January unless we play over the odds. And Giroud is the next best thing and is doing a solid job.

I don't buy that Steve, whether they threw the kitchen sink at us or not, I've seen too many games over the years where you just know we'll succumb to pressure and let a goal in last knockings. And those subs were gash!

Anyway, I'm going to forget about it now and fingers crossed for Stoke. They ain't going to be easy though as they are playing really well at the moment.

Nice to see we have the defensive midfielder we've been crying out for, I'm not ashamed to say I've never heard of him before.

Confirmed on Arsenal.com as well http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-arc...-joins-arsenal

Hope he settles in quickly and fights for his place in the starting XI ahead of Flamini until Coq comes back.

If anything it was Liverpool that were knackered after their incessant pressing in the first half. Should have gone for the kill and then by all means sit back with a 2 goal cushion especially as Ozil was finding more space as Liverpool threw more forward.

Saying that, the Ox is normally good coming off the bench but he kept giving the ball away when we outnumbered them on the break. He could do with a goal to boost his confidence as its obviously lacking at the moment.

Also credit due coming back from goals behind twice but we would have made a massive statement had we held out after that.

Hat off to Giroud from me, I've been a huge critic of his but he has been brilliant this season, and he puts in a huge effort every game, don't get me wrong I still would LOVE Higuain but Giroud has been great.

Last night at 2-3 I thought we'd close it out, I feel more confident of that with Cech at the back. Klopp seems to be able to get Liverpool pumped for the 'big' games and then they go and lose to the lower table teams.

What are peoples views on Chambers? I thought he might be being groomed for the DM role, but the arrival of our new signing suggests not. I like him a lot as a player but he has looked shakey the last few games he's started.

Sanchez may play on Sunday, would be good to have that option on the bench although I wouldn't start him after his injury. If we're chasing the game and need a goal, I'd risk it.

Rosicky 's also close to returning, apparently and Elneny may also get some time.

Must win game if we want to have any real chance of the title. I can't see Man City dropping points at home again.

Listening to AW yesterday he said he won't buy a striker as Wellbeck is better than anyone else available. Hope he's actually going to be fit soon enough for a start.

With Wellbeck, Coquelin, Wilshire (for 3 games until he's injured again) & a rested Sanchez, it does seem like 4 new signings with the end of the season in sight.
