I'm not sure Giroud off was the right option, but we'll see.

I turned off already. Can't bear to watch either.

We have been absolute gob shite from the word go. The slow tempo and poncing around. The one effing game where we needed to put down a marker and we shoot ourselves in the foot.

It's funny because Wenger used to beat Chelsea all the time.

Ever since the CL quarter-final horrorshow, it's been a change in fortune.

Shame, this game promised so much and the spectacle's over in 20 minutes. So, so annoying.

I just about remember those days. When Kanu won it 3-2 for us. So long ago.

If there's any justice, Costa will get sent off to make the game more even.

Well, the team still has plenty of time to rise up and play out of their skin. They can give it a good go even with one man down.

Passing and defending has been sloppy.

Only we can make the worst Chelsea team in years look like last year's team.

I like your optimism, but I think our only chance is to keep to 0-1 and get one of theirs sent off.

They open us up at will whilst we pass until we lose it......

Me neither. What's the point sitting back yet again, we've already proved we're shit at doing that - should have just gone for it.

I remember Zola scoring against us at Stamford Bridge, Vieira got sent off yet we still managed to grind out a draw. I think it was Toure's first goal.

Times change!

Looks like 2 points from the last 3 games.

Wenger is lucky City are so average this season.

Anyone else think physically we look very lightweight?

Never mind Man City. Spurs are only two points behind now. I seriously think they might do it this season.

City could go top in two weeks. And they have Aguero back.

No disrespect to Giroud, but City have a striker who can single-handedly win games.

I know Wenger isn't one to break contracts but I do wish he wins the title and leaves come May, especially if Guardiola wants to come in. Don't know how much I can these passive performances against Chelsea.

There's no bloody atmosphere. It's a fine stadium and that but they missed a trick with the crowd being so far back at the goal ends. It's not intimidating enough.

Loads of tourists though and people with their noses in their mobile phones not even looking at the game. About now they'll all be de-camping to the back to queue for their pie & pint!!!!

Giroux had an injury, probably only one hour in him. They were all over us in midfield so had to be Giroud or Walcott to go off.

Gone from built players like Campbell, Lauren, Vieira, Toure, Gilberto, to lightweights who are very good with the ball, but show no character when the going gets tough. TBF Ozil has bulked up a bit since his injury last season and it's done him wonders.

Win the title or overtake us? Don't be silly.

They are just as inconsistent as Arsenal are. They will get into the top four, whichever position who knows? But funding for the new stadium will hamper them in the long term.

Yep, fans won't gear up the players.

We took Giroud off so we can play Flamini up front.

Why do we still have Mertesacker, we've all known for a long time he's slow.

Haha Mertesacker simultaneously looks across at the linesman while he makes the last ditch tackle.
