Shocking performance. Prob the worst since the opening day. Wenger is far too cautious. It's becoming the title nobody wants to win.

Only Arsenal could contrive to lose twice against one of the most under performing teams of the season. There's no imagination from the manager. Same old, same old. Too bloody conservative. We try to be too clever for our own good instead of keeping it simple. Another wasted opportunity. Walcott has gone right off the boil. Flamini adds very little for all his efforts. We can't lose to Burnley can we!!!

Don't think eleven on the pitch would have made too much difference. We started badly and went downhill and were devoid of any other ideas.

Simple truth is money has to be spent in the next week. Players like Levezzi are around and can help win the league. Still think the players need a lift, final push.

And still to come, Spurs and Utd away. Barca home and away. Everton, West Ham and Man City.

Hmm.

Same old, same old. So bloody predictable.
OK Costa may have made a meal of the contact (again) but we were shit.

Meh, i think we all have written off our hopes vs Barcs. think the other games are winnable with Santi, Coq are fully fit.

City by the time we play them we shall know where we are in terms of the title.

We won't get any more signings. Wenger doesn't see the weaknesses in the squad. He probably finds these kind of displays 'baffling' despite their repeating themselves time after time in much the same fashion.

Tbf regardless of how bad they Are, Aw always struggle against Jose. In this game we played a Chelsea team who had no pressure and are on a good run compared to us. I just think their big players stood up, ours bottled it.

Ramsey, Theo, Mert are not players who can win us the league.

As already said we haven't been at our best for a while now. The lack of goals is a concern. Maybe the cup has come at a good time. Just don't take Burnley lightly! Resume the PL and kick on from there. Injured players to return hopefully. The only positive is that at least Chelsea aren't in the mix this season and rather lose to them then City away.

We have the best chance to win it, they now have to get up brush it off and win the league, They and Aw must take that chance now. We are in a slump and we need out if it quick. Our players and Aw can not be cocky and think because we are"favs" we can just turn up etc. We need to fight for this.

We won't ever win another title again under Wenger......seriously, we just won't. Anyone who thinks we will deserves to be bundled up in a straight jacket and wheeled to the nearest padded cell.

The usual rhetoric from the manager in the post match interview. Thought we deserved a point and couldn't fault the effort of the players blah blah. Never mind the opening spell when we were just going through the motions. It's all very well having plenty of possession and passing it to death but when you don't even test the keeper then what's the bloody point of it all!!

We have the chance was my point its down to us to take it. Its ours to loose so they keep saying. I guess the next 10 games will tell us if we will.

Isn't that a first loss for Flamini at home too?

Didn't mean you specifically Spidey, just in general. The chance is there, but you can be sure we won't take it. You can ram my post down my throat if we do

Yes we are still in the title race and could go on to win it but I just don't know which team will turn up these days. We have Soton home, B'mouth away and Leic home. We need to get max points here but not totally confident we will.

If Arsenal win the title this season, Wenger has done good considering City have spent £100m+ to strengthen their side and have only gone sidewards.

If Arsenal don't win the title this season, Wenger has to go. How many more seasons can fans tolerate 'we're building a side...........judge me in May..........we were consistent in the calendar year...........bit unlucky............injuries'? As good an achievement it is to finish in the top four, a 12th year without the title is unacceptable for a club with big resources. Plus you have to consider:

*City will strengthen and possibly attract Guardiola
*United will make changes
*Chelsea will spend
*Spurs are moving upwards, even if the new stadium will hamper them in the short term
*Liverpool will improve under Klopp
*The bottom-half clubs will stregnthen thanks to the TV money

I pray and I still think it's possible for Wenger to win the title. But then what? He hasn't build a side that will go on to dominate English football, he broke up the Invincibles far too soon, so he isn't going to learn from his mistakes. And sadly can't see him winning the CL with Arsenal. Blew it in 2004, unlucky in 2006 and his first team should've gone all the way if it weren't for Wembley.

If Guardiola is available, Wenger should be actively wooing him.

There is talk of Wenger being offered a 2 year extension to his current deal. So that would be another 3 seasons after this one. It would not surprise me at all if he stays on beyond next season. At the very least, we have another season Mr W.

We will.

He won't go, never has had any intention of going. Whether we win anything or we don't - he will still run Arsenal Football Club, from the top to the bottom, it's as simple as that.

Until he goes, everything stays the same.

Yep that's how I see it too. He's certainly not going to step aside for anyone, not for another year at least anyway.. I suspect Guardiola would love to manage this club. Living in London and all that entails. The freedom to do as he pleases pretty much with the team. All about timing though. The club aren't going to sack him and so he will go to City. We will just have to ride this one out until he calls it a day and see who's available.

Arsenal won't win the title. We never win when it matters. In fact I think there's a danger we'll finish 4th.

I know what you mean but we do have a genuine chance imo for the 1st time in a while. City are favs after today. Guess the next few games will tell us about ourselves.

This. With bells on.
This year we could win it, maybe we even should win it, but we won't. Nailed on cert.
