That's too bad for Welbeck that he's ruled out. Would have been useful to call upon. Wenger hinting that Walcott and Wilshere will be on the bench but maybe the journos are reading too much into what he says. I do hope he's studied the Villa semi against Liverpool and has some idea about how they like to play and their danger men. Jack Grealish is suppose to be a bit useful.

We musnt take this lightly. Maybe we can use what happened at the start of last years final to help us a bit.

Not just last year's final. Many of the games this season when we start as if we are at a leisurely practice match or half asleep.

Giroud hasn't scored since TH14 had a pop at him and his confidence is really low. Theo just got a hattrick. So the Genius will play Giroud
I will go nuts if we just pass it around in front of the Villa defence, then get hit on the break.
I was watching Sevilla win last night and thinking what a coach like Emery could do with Theo (think Bacca's movement but with more pace).

For those of you getting superstitious, may I remind you we've lost the last 4 Cup finals when wearing yellow , despite the song

Giroud has never scored a hattrick for Arsenal before apart from a pre-season friendly against the Vietnam national side. Says it all really.

AW also said he hasn't decided who to play in goal yet.

I reckon that 'Tiny' Jack Wilshere will get the nod.

Anyone getting nervous about tomorrow? It would be brilliant obviously to win but to do it style even better. We know what the team is capable of doing as we see it occasionally. To do it in front of the watching millions.
On another note, would people rather a close game like last year with the glory of the winning goal or be 3 or 4 up and coast to the final whistle?

Definitely make a statement of intent, win comfortably and put on a show is my ideal scenario. We're due a good performance at Wembley. Hope its tomorrow!

think Wenger decided to go with Ospina, which is why he didn't play Szczesney in the weekend game. But then Ospina had a very wobbly game. So now Arsene is dithering.
No doubt Szcz's confidence is at an all time low but he's taller and perhaps better able to cope with Benteke (?). Neither keeper is going to have a blinder and win us the match.
Until Theo's goals, no-one had scored for 5 (?) matches, other than Theo himself with that deflected shot. Pick Theo....

I'd like a straight forward win for once! Listened to David Seaman earlier and he was talking about us not turning up last year. I think that's what worries all of us. We never quite know what Arsenal will turn up on the day.

I think sometimes the other teams spirit and determination catches Arsene out. You would think after all the years of managing he would be better prepared.

He needs to get the boys fired up and motivated rather than thinking it's just another final.

I hope Jack and/or Theo start as that way at least there will be some drive in the team.

Well, at least we cant do any worse than last year, can we?
I dont want us to turn up thinking we've won the game, remember Birmingham, Bradford etc? We seem to have a problem with "smaller" teams.

Hoping against hope we are up from it from the start. One thing we know is that if we don't turn up no one on the pitch will do anything about it until a bollocking at half time. Hoping for a real performance today.

Yes I agree.

Also, the thought of Timmy winning *shudder*.

not sure if we don't turn up in certain finals due to complacency or nerves. Wenger does seem to rely on key players to give key speeches.
Think Arteta's been at it in the week but hope someone steps up and gets everyone going today.
Please Theo and Monreal, not Giroud and Gibbs.
I'm nervous all right

COME ON Arsenal. Make us proud

I'm going Emirates as well to watch the live screening. Great atmosphere considering and as you said, good that it's unreserved seating so you get to sit where you want.

Hope we don't go 2 down like last year and win comfortably. We're capable of it, just need to produce it.

COYG. Let's make history and make it 12 FA cups to overtake United
