I still say there is something in the whole squad that is wrong. Far too many times we are unable to change a match. Leadership is often mentioned and it does seem like that on the pitch. You don’t ever feel anyone is going to leads by example. I don’t know what it is as it happens year after year.
We put out a team that plays the same every time with no recognisable changes in respect of whatever circumstances are happening. I do think AW has been worked out by many managers not least because we are so predictable. They know what we will do Bournemouth next who had a good win last night. I’m not even confident we will beat them to be honest.”
Koeman does have Wenger's number, just like a few other managers.
Looking at the match again, Arsenal were far too wasteful. Yes, Forster was excellent, but there's a correlation between goalkeepers having brilliant games at the Emirates and Arsenal players squandering chances. I don't see the point of Walcott out wide, play him centrally and put Giroud on the bench. Ramsey's been terrible the last few weeks, and there's little point getting worked up about Flamini because it's not his fault the manager keeps playing him. The good thing about Sanchez and Coquelin returning is there's a bit more variation to the game.
I don't know what will happen at Bournemouth but I suspect Sanchez will start hitting form at some point. Manchester United, Barcelona, Leicester sounds daunting, but Arsenal being Arsenal will probably raise their game when written off.
Spurs are starting to gel, but Leicester frankly worry me more. You expect Spurs will Spurs it at some point, but Leicester are an anomaly and if they get through their next two fixtures, they have winnable fixtures and rightly so be title favourites.
